Princess Love she is opening up about her previous romance Floyd Mayweather and sharing why they went their separate ways. Plus, Love is explaining why she's officially calling things off with Ray J.

Princess Love opens up about her previous romance with Floyd Mayweather

On Tuesday, January 21, Carlos King released an exclusive interview via Love YouTube. About 14 minutes into the sit-down, Love reflected on breaking into the entertainment industry through her romance with Mayweather.

He also explained that their relationship started out platonic, but eventually turned into romance.

"The Floyd that I know was the Floyd that didn't have access to all that crazy stuff, like, I met Floyd when he was at his weakest," Love explained. "...That's the Floyd I fell in love with, but when he got out (of prison) I met the real Floyd."

At the time, Love explained that his and Mayweather's friendship was strong, and that he was supporting him financially in more ways than anyone ever had.

"He was doing a lot for me," she said. "More than anyone has ever done... he bought me a new car, he bought me an apartment..."

However, Love said she began to notice that many women had access to Mayweather or were part of his entourage. Eventually, Love became uncomfortable, "and that's when the truth came out."

"'I can have as many women as I can,'" Love recalled Mayweather allegedly telling her. "And he didn't lie, so I couldn't help but respect him."

Ultimately, Love explained that at that point in his life he wanted to start a family. However, Mayweather didn't want to settle for that. Eventually, she became happy with their romance and around the same time she met Ray J, who seemed to be on the same page as her.

However, despite their split, Love explained that Mayweather is "one of the nicest people" he has ever met.

Ass Shadow Room previously reported, Love revealed that she and Ray J have decided to divorce - for the fourth time - in February 2024. In April of that year, Rayk He was said to have responded to his dossier with a request to share legal and physical custody of two children.

Then, earlier this month, Ray revealed that he and Love are now legally separated. He also shared that "sometimes" he just wants to let things go completely. However, he would like to stay married, per Shadow Room.

While speaking with King, Love explained why she has ended her romance with Ray and is sticking to her divorce vows.

"I feel like this time is different from other times because this time I didn't do it out of anger," he said. "...I was at a place in my life where I was like, 'All these guys, they're all lying (so) I'd be okay with the father of my kids.' But, no, I don't deserve that. I deserve to be happy, and if it's for me to be happy, so be it."

After all, Love explained that she and Ray "live two completely different lives" and likened their relationship to "roommates" or an open marriage.
