Bernice King calls out Sexyy Red for fake photo of her dad

That wasn't the only picture Sexy shared with Dr. King. He also posted another AI-generated image of him standing next to Martin Luther King Jr. at a fake protest. His text read: "Happy MLK Day!!" That post is still available on the X profile.

Bernice King clarifies her commentary on Sexyy Red

Just over an hour after her initial post, Bernice King turned around to let the trolls continue to spin her words. He clarified that his call was not a personal attack. Instead, he explained that his father's AI-generated images and the like confuse him.

“Please don't project your thoughts onto me. I don't think Sexyy Red is "degenerate", "ghetto" or "trash". I have spoken in the past about one of my parents using and comparing other people to put them down. I don't understand this kind of use of my dad's image (on #MLKDay, no less) in a way that doesn't convey what we know to be true about his service and sacrifice. Even if you don't agree with him or his tactics or believe the things that people who hated him said about him, why do this?

While the photo appears to be taken down as requested by Bernice King, Sexyy Red has not commented on the call. Instead, he has continued to post on X and other social platforms as usual and even more so responded to a special request By Bruno Mars!
