In the video interview, Nelly made it clear that she is not at Trump's inaugural ball to get money.

“I'm not doing this for the money. I am doing this because it is (an honor). I respect the office. It doesn't matter who is in office. Our men and women, our brothers and sisters who protect this country have to go to war and risk their lives for whoever is in office. So if they can put their lives at risk for anyone in office, I can certainly do a lot for anyone in office," Nelly explained.

He even asks Nelly how she would respond to people calling her out for supporting a white supremacist. But the outspoken rapper said he needs to prove that Donald Trump is a white supremacist. "I would ask them to show me where the white supremacist is" added Nelly.
