The actress who appeared in "Modern Family" claims Sofia Vergara was her "roughest" encounter with a celebrity.

According to the individual, Vergara earned the title because of her attitude towards her staff and falling down on the set of the comedy series due to a wig issue.

The claim comes as Sofia Vergara continued to spark dating rumors after she was spotted enjoying a cozy lunch in New York with the Formula 1 star. Lewis Hamilton.

During an appearance on "The Bald and the Beautiful" podcast with drag queens Trixie and Katya, actress Kelly Mantle, who guest-starred as a drag queen on the 2019 episode of "Modern Family" titled "The Last Halloween," shared her experience working with Sofia Vergara.

Mantle described the 52-year-old actress as her "roughest celebrity," pointing to how Vergara allegedly treated her staff.

"It wasn't the most pleasant experience I've ever had," Mantle admitted Daily Mail. "It wasn't towards me. It was the way some of her employees were treated."

Mantle detailed an incident in which Vergara allegedly refused to allow the crew to use pins to secure a wig for a scene.

"In the episode, she's wearing a wig, and they kept wanting to put pins in it, and she kept telling them there were no bobby pins," she said of the moment.

Tensions reportedly rose on set when Mantle, who was tasked with placing a crown on Vergara's head during a scene, inadvertently upset the actress.

"They're yelling action, and I'm supposed to put a crown on her hair," Mantle recounted. "So I put the crown on, and then they tell me the cut, and she's like, 'Watch the wig! You're putting a crown on my head!'"

Mantle then joked back at her, saying, "Well, girl, you should have used those needles."

Reflecting on the incident, Mantle admitted that Vergara may have just had an off day.

"Maybe it was a bad day. I'll just say it was a bad day. Because she's hilarious and beautiful and talented and gorgeous. I'm sure it was a bad day," she said.

Vergara is rumored to be dating Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, 40, and was recently seen enjoying an intimate lunch with him in New York.

The two were all smiles as they said their goodbyes, and the Colombian-American actress got into the car afterward. They had dinner with friends at Breakfast by Salt Cure, a popular West Village spot.

Vergara and Hamilton sat next to each other at a table, engaging in lively conversation with their group. Viewers noticed that the "Griselde" star barely touched her meal, looking completely engrossed in the conversation around her.

Vergara and Hamilton were seen smiling and chatting outside the restaurant before she got into an SUV and left.

Vergara was last romantically linked to orthopedist Justin Saliman, although she confirmed in October that she was single again.

The two were first seen together in October 2023 and went on several dates before the actress publicly said she was back on the dating scene.

Before that, Vergara was married to her high school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez in the early 1990s, with whom she shares her 33-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara.

Between her two marriages, Vergara was in a two-year relationship with actor Nick Loeb. The couple got engaged in 2012 but called it quits in 2014.

After the breakup, Vergara and Loeb became embroiled in a protracted legal battle over two fertilized embryos they created through IVF, which were cryogenically frozen.

In 2015, Loeb filed a lawsuit against Vergara seeking custody of the embryos with the intention of carrying them to term, sparking years of litigation.

The actor initially pursued the case in California, but later moved it to Louisiana, where laws recognize embryos as persons with legal rights.

The "Wild Card" actress eventually won in 2021 when a judge in Los Angeles issued a permanent restraining order preventing Loeb from using the embryos without her consent.
