Earlier this week, a new episode of Anthony's podcast, '7PM in Brooklyn' was released YouTube. About an hour and twenty-eight minutes into the episode, Melo was asked to share "what was going on" in her viral photo with Rihanna at an event related to the 2014 Met Gala.
In the video, Melo is seen staring at Rihanna while apparently taking pictures.

So far, his statement has shocked social media, with some believing he was willing to "risk it all" for Rih.
"We've already gone in there having fun. Every time... a celebrity walks in, the cameras go crazy... When you walk in there's a commotion. I finally go in, and I go through the cameras and sit down, now I've found my comfort zone, sitting down...trying to stay low," he said.
At that point, Rihanna arrived, according to Melo.
"Rih goes crazy on camera (and) ... All you see are white flashes," he said. "And... he has to go to one area, and I'm like, 'Please don't come here.' The flashes are going, so I put my head down, and I look up, and he's right there posing... And I I say, 'Really?'"
