The Frasier Revival series has been canceled by Paramount+, but there's still hope for a season 3

Doctor Who is out - still at Paramount+. Deadline is reporting that the long-running sitcom "Frasier" has been canceled after two seasons. However, this is not necessarily the end for the show, as production company CBS Studios is currently shopping it to other potential platforms.

Reports of the cancellation did not include any specific reasons, and since the "Frasier" revival was exclusive to a streaming platform, no reliable figures are available for Season 2's viewership. On the first season also aired its premiere on CBS to 2.2 million viewers in October 2023, and Paramount+ reported that it was the "No. 1 Original Comedy Premiere” in terms of reach (stretching the definition of “original” somewhat). However, there have been no press releases about the second season's ratings, and the latest news shows that the numbers were not much to brag about.

The 264-episode original run of "Frasier," plus the 20 episodes of the show, will remain on Paramount+ for now. The original series is also available on Hulu and Prime Video, and Deadline speculates that those streamers will be potential targets as CBS Studios brings "Frasier" to market.
