With the possibility of the popular social media app being banned in the United States in the near future, many content creators are focusing on other platforms or looking for new options to keep their fan base entertained. Starting on TikTok long before the reality show hit Hulu, moms MomTok have shared how they feel about the app possibly going dark.

Fans are once again wondering if MomTok will survive

"Will MomTok survive the end of time Tok?!" one fan asked the reality star Maya Neeley in the comments of her recent video about getting banned from TikTok.
"So it looks like I'm going to be out of a job soon," Neeley began her video. "Just kidding. I'm not really worried about it. However, I'm really sad that TikTok might shut down in a week, which is why I think this is the perfect time to release all my designs."
She then went on to say that she's heard many people say they won't switch to Instagram if the TikTok ban actually happens. She said she still uses Instagram and YouTube.

"If TikTok really goes away, like really, really, I'm going to be so sad," she continued. "I also have some big announcements and exciting things going on that I can't wait to share. I'm a little disappointed about that because we all know that like reels are not the same."
One viewer shared, "Following you on YouTube!! I can't lose my MomTok content!" Another person said, "Well, I'll go on Insta to find you."

Layla Taylor takes her 'TikTok persona' to Instagram
Another MomTok mom, Layla Taylorshared a playful video on TikTok a few days ago to address the possible ban.
"Now that TikTok is banned and I have to go scare my IG followers with my TikTok personality," the video reads. Many of her followers could relate and share their thoughts in the comments section.
"People on IG are not the same as TikTok," one person wrote. Another added: "MOMTOK WILL NOT SURVIVE THIS." And another viewer said: "I'm not ready for this change."

'I still can't believe it's going away so soon'
Star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Women. Jessi Ngatikaura she also shared her thoughts and questions about the possible ban in a TikTok video a few days ago.
"I'm going to need someone to tell me what we're doing when TikTok goes down. I've seen everyone say, 'No, we're not going to Instagram, we're boycotting it. We're going to RedNote.' I have to understand because I'm the kind of influencer who always posts on both Instagram and TikTok," she said. "And I feel like I've seen a lot of hate for Instagram and how no one wants to go there because it's out there."
She then said that she needs someone to explain to her why people don't just want to go on Instagram and do rolls.
"And also if we don't," she continued. "Where the hell are we going?"

One viewer explained why he didn't switch to IG: "Meta lobbied HARD to ban TikTok, so people are moving away from Meta. A lot of influencers I've seen go to YouTube/YouTube shorts because the Instagram vibes just aren't that good. "
Another viewer added: "YouTube & RedNote. The owner of RedNote said he's working on all English fast so we can use it like TikTok!"
MomTok also wonders if she will survive
fellow MomTok mom, Mikayla Matthews he also shared a video talking about banning TikTok.
"When the TikTok ban was actually happening, but we literally made MomTok our whole personality and we had a show about being on MomTok," Matthews and Neeley captioned the video.
One viewer shared what everyone is wondering: "Can MomTok survive this?!" Another added: "I don't know how MomTok is going to survive this."
Another viewer shared the suggestion: "Just convert MomTok to MomNote and go to RedNote."

Taylor Frankie Paul shared an IG story about being banned from TikTok

The MomTok crew is currently filming the second season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Women, which will be released on Hulu sometime this spring. Season 1 is streaming on Hulu and will make its debut on ABC on January 27, as part of ABC's winter lineup.
