
Meredith Goudreau finds a shocking way to keep her late husband's legacy alive.
After the death of Meredith's husband, the NHL star Johnny GaudreauIn August 2024, she recently got a tattoo to commemorate Johnny using her ashes in ink.
"A month ago, a client approached me for a cremation tattoo," the tattoo artist Tay Nicole clinch to share via Instagram Wednesday, January 15. “I never did it and was transparent about that but he chose to stick with me anyway. After a while, he let me in on his story and it's safe to say I got pretty emotional when I realized it was a story I already knew and had been moved to tears in the past."

Clinch continued, “Because of the issues involved, it's not something I would do but given the circumstances I made an exception. Safety was the priority. A medical professional was consulted and clearance was given, ensuring that this decision was made with care and guidance."

Meredith had Ford "Forever" tattooed on the inside of one of her fingers and the names of her two children - girls Noah2, and son johnny22 months — in his arms.
"So, with her ashes in ink, this tattoo becomes an additional way to carry her presence with her children—thank you for trusting me with something so special and letting me play a small part in your healing journey," Clinch wrote.
Clinch explained that she waited a month to post about the tattoos because she "wanted Meredith to spend some personal time with them while they healed and they healed well with no unusual side effects."
Meredith expressed her gratitude in the comments section of Clinch's post, writing, “Obsessed with them. Absolutely the best and done by a wonderful girl."
The tattoo artist hinted that there may be more ink in Meredith's future, commenting, "Very excited for other ideas."

At a memorial service for Johnny and Matthew in September 2024, Meredith She revealed she was nine weeks pregnant with the couple's third child.
"We're actually a family of five," Meredith said during her eulogy. “I am in the ninth week of pregnancy with our third child. A complete surprise, but again, John was brilliant and very excited."
Meredith added, "I was so nervous because it was, again, a complete surprise. But his response was to immediately kiss me and hug me even though I was driving. After the initial excitement subsided, every time he looked at me, he'd say, ' You're crazy, you know? Three kids?'
