In comments to TMZ, Roberta Kaplan suggested that fans shouldn't be fooled by how Williams played on "TBC." He clarified that the star's dementia diagnosis remains, meaning that his daily energy is not necessarily the same. Kaplan said the degenerative nature of dementia means the judge believes Wendy needs lifelong care and tutoring. As for the guardian, Sabrina, TMZ reports that conservatorship conditions prevent her from speaking.
Williams explains the conservative's "emotional abuse."
Unlike Wendy Williams' lawyer, the TV icon, her nephew and Charlamagne Tha God all denied that Wendy is cognitively impaired. Instead, Williams said, he lives in a luxury prison with locked elevators and babysitters giving him seven pills a day. His apartment has a bed, a chair, a purchased TV and a bathroom. When she's not watching TV or listening to the radio, Wendy said she looks out her ONE window.
“I'm definitely isolated. And talking to these people who live here is not my cup of tea. They are good people, but the door is closed to me. I watch TV, I listen to the radio and I look out the window and I sit here as my life goes on. Do you know what I'm saying?"
Wendy Williams also said the system she is "trapped in" is "broken" and has been "rigged a lot". His wish is to be in the care of his family in Miami, especially for his father's 94th birthday next month. However, Wendy said the final decision is up to Sabrina's mentor. Additionally, Williams expressed fear that Sabrina might retaliate for her transparency in the interview by taking away her limited phone privileges or blocking her from traveling to see her father. He called the conservative a form of "emotional abuse."
It was the first time fans saw Wendy Williams in a hot minute earlier this month. The guardian allowed her to attend her only son's college graduation.
