according to Fox 35 OrlandoThe incident between Fleury and Monroe happened on Wednesday, January 15, around 8 a.m. in the Mall, when the 83-year-old arrived at Buddy's Food and Lotto to collect $200 from the lottery.

Surveillance footage later captured Monroe walking out of the store and toward her car. At the same time, a man wearing an orange jacket is seen walking towards the store. At that moment, Monroe is seen trying to open her car door. However, the man is approaching her and trying to take the objects from her hands.

From there, another man is seen leaving the convenience store in an apparent effort to defend the 83-year-old. However, as the woman tries to get into her car, the suspect runs up to her. In the end, he is seen aggressively getting out of the car and being dragged to the ground.

At that point, the man is out of sight.

According to the outlet, authorities immediately identified the suspect as Fleury. They also issued a warrant for his arrest "on charges of burglary, aggravated robbery and assault on a person 65 years of age or older."
