Harry and Meghan are reportedly unhappy with actress Bateman's harsh remarks about their involvement in helping with the fires in Los Angeles.
Taking to X to express her disdain, Bateman accused the former royals of being "ambulance chasers" after footage emerged showing them in casual clothes talking to victims and volunteers.
She suggested they were only there for a "photo op", writing: "What a despicable 'photo op' they've achieved. They're 'doing damage'? Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they're tourists. Disaster tourists."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are volunteering in Pasadena, supporting fire victims
Harry and Meghan, who live in Montecito near Santa Barbara, about 90 miles from Los Angeles, were seen on Friday handing out food packages to those affected by the devastating fires at the Pasadena Convention Center, which has been turned into an evacuation center.
They were also photographed hugging José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, an organization that provides hot meals to the public and emergency responders after the fire.
Footage from Fox 11 Los Angeles shows the couple in Pasadena, where they engaged with volunteers and met with the city's mayor, Victor Gordo.
Speaking to FOX LA, Mayor Gordo praised Harry and Meghan's efforts. He said: "They (Harry and Meghan) want to be as helpful as they can, and they really just want to be supportive."

The mayor also said the couple visited burned homes in Pasadena and Altadena, meeting with those who lost everything.
"They took the time to meet the people who were affected and spend time. They're just very caring people who are very concerned about their friends and neighbors," Gordo added.

The royal couple has offered financial assistance to help recover from the wildfires in Southern California
Additionally, through their Archewell Foundation, Harry and Meghan have made significant financial contributions and remain committed to supporting ongoing recovery and rebuilding efforts.
They plan additional visits in the future. On Thursday, January 9, the couple released a statement on their official website, Sussex.com, expressing their concern over the wildfires that have wreaked havoc across Southern California.
"Over the past few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers and more — affecting tens of thousands of people from all walks of life," they wrote.
Acknowledging the emergency, they encouraged others to help and provided links to relief organizations, including the American Red Cross.
"Some families and people are left with nothing. Please consider donating clothes, children's toys and clothes and other basic necessities," they added.

Meghan Markle Postpones Netflix Show Amid Los Angeles Fire Crisis
Bateman's public criticism follows Meghan's announcement that she is delaying the release of her new Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan," due to the ongoing fire crisis in Los Angeles.
Originally scheduled for January 15th, the show will now debut on March 4th.
In a statement released on Sunday, just days before the series began airing, the Duchess of Sussex expressed her gratitude for Netflix's understanding and support.
According to People Magazineshe said, "I'm grateful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in my home state of California."
