The doctor explained that after having children, she "gets looser," but Shields delivered her children via C-section.

"'After two children, everything is looser,' he said. But I had a c-section, and a scar, more of a restricted cervix, I replied. 'Still...' he said, staring, as if waiting for some further reaction from the lady whose feet were glamorously in metal stirrups He acted as if he had done me a favor, and that, in fact, I should be grateful 'I threw this in for free, little lady' for his delivery, but I never asked to be 'tightened' or 'younger' (in translation: I had a younger vagina), she said.

The former Calvin Klein model said she wasn't happy with the results, but even if she was, her body was "surgically altered" without her consent.

"This man surgically altered my body without my consent," she wrote. "And he thought he was doing me a favor by throwing in a 'bonus procedure'? The sheer gall of it infuriated me."

As a child actress, Shields was oversexualized in films such as "Pretty Baby" at age 11 and "Blue Lagoon" at age 14.

"The fact that the most intimate parts of my body were in the public eye for so long... it was enough," she said. "All I could think was, 'Why can't everyone just leave my v-gina alone?' (Even now, as I write this, I know this is going to be a headline-grabbing piece. Whatever. Women deserve all the information.)"

Shields added that she wasn't happy with the results after getting started, and the unwanted procedure didn't add to her satisfaction.

Shields' husband was also angry

Shields wrote in the book that she never spoke to the doctor again and was traumatized by the unwanted procedure. She also noted that when she told her husband, Chris Henchy, he was also upset about the unwanted procedure.

"I never took action against this doctor. I never even spoke to him about it again, partly because I began to second-guess myself," she wrote.

"To wonder if he was right, that I should feel happy. Or perhaps, I thought, this was a necessary improvement for my man, who was secretly displeased, but would never venture to broach the subject of my 'loose down'?" It's crazy that those ideas even entered my head."

She continued: "What's even crazier is that I didn't even talk to my husband about it until later. I can't remember why I ended up telling him, but he was almost as angry as I was. He had no right to do what you are, and if it happened to me now, I'd make my own loud headline and announce it everywhere, that's how this age seems to me, and I like it a lot better."

“Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Age” will be available on January 14th.
