"Star Trek: Strange New Worlds", more than everything, there is a fun experiment in the genre. Unlike many of the Starwar Trek series in the Star Trek era, "Strange New Worlds" is presented in an episodic format, with the story of each week ending at the end of the class. His show shows shows use that format to most of their abilities, trying to rotate through as many genres and sub-rates they can with each season of 10 episodes. An episode can be an intense personal drama about long -term impulses for violence after the PTSN war, while the next is a mystery to satirical murder in the Agatha Christie vein. Indeed, we already know that the fourth season of the series will include an episode in which Muppet versions of the characters "Strange New World". It is clear that this show is not afraid to push the boundaries of a whim (though that may have found the limit in that regard during season 3).

However, it seems that one of the stupidest ideas for an episode of "strange new worlds" can never happen. Talking to SFX magazineCo-shower of "Strange New Worlds" Akiva Goldsman spoke about his work in the series, which means that almost nothing is out of the table in terms of experimental format. However, while the "Lower decks" crossover on the show includes an animated segment, Goldsman once had a wider idea to write an episode that is fully animated. Specifically, he came up with the term episode "Strange New Worlds" animated in the style of "Star Trek: The Animated Series" of the 1970s. Goldsman did not go into detail out of it, but it's certainly fun - and ambitious - perspective.

He returned most of the Star Trek: The Original Series cast (Although Walter Koenig as Chekov is disappointingly absent) and only followed the USS company of the usual adventures. The "Animated Series" was produced by the film, the studio that will continue to make "ha-man and masters of the universe". After years of fuzzy, it is now easily accessible to Paramount+.

The creators of the new Star Trek shows are clearly familiar with the "animated series", which have already produced a series of animated shorts in his style under the flag of "very short trails". However, Goldsman wanted to make things a step further and make a full one -hour episode of "Strange New Worlds" in the same style. He referred to this when the SFX magazine asked about the glorious experimentation of the show genre. As he explained:

"There were some (genres) that we failed to understand. Every year we said" Let's do West! "I think we wouldn't break the show at all, I don't think we know how to do it.

Namely, the franchise "Star Trek" already has several western episodes. Their ranks include "Gun Specter" by Star Trek: The Original Series and Fistful of Datas by Star Trek: The Next Generation. However, based on Goldsman's comments, it seems that a fully animated episode of "Strange New Worlds" is out of the table, at least for now. Maybe it would just be too difficult and/or take a lot of time. However, there are even more seasons in the series, however, so never say die.
