There is rarely a more "Star Trek" period than we have now, and time may not be better. Next year marks the 60th anniversary of the story of a scientific franchise, which is a rare benchmark that most other properties there cannot start competing. And those responsible for the future of Trek are well aware of the responsibility that relies on their shoulders. It will be Alex Kurzmann, the man with his fingers in almost every pie at the moment in production, along with the figures Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Meyers. All three have made the track (see what I did there?) Along with various roles at this year's current comics in New York for a panel that, sincerely, maybe even oppose TV and Marvel's animation in terms of excitement and attendance.
Of all the topics to be discussed, the cast and the crew are involved in two upcoming plays to be announced in 2026: Season 4 of "Strange New Worlds" and the upcoming "Academy of Starflit"Both series feel like the opposite ends of the Trek spectrum. One takes place almost simultaneously with the time frame of the "original series", the one that started it all. The other, meanwhile, is staying in the deepest recesses of the far-reaching future-ERA and the limit that we have not really seen before. While waiting for further development of movies (such as The Prequel movie officially released last year) and other streaming expansion (such as "such as"One year"The fans of the series are praying), we have these two to keep us in the meantime.
The future of "Trek" looks as bright as always, so here are just a few of the most exciting discoveries from Cuork.
Season 4 of strange new worlds will "go to broken"
In many ways, Season 3 of "Strange New Worlds" felt like a fee more; So, naturally, the whole creative team wanted to surpass the anteto even more. That's not to say that they shared specifics about what their sleeves have, they warn you. In fact, the main actors Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, Martin Quinn and Melissa Pravia, practically just pulled out of the plane after flying directly from the set of Season 5, which contributed to a slightly forest connection between the cast for the presence of a promotional event for the fourth season. (In a funny bit, producers Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Meyers seemed to have their wires slightly crossed with seasons 3, 4 and 5 straight. Season 3 ended with the end of the story in the Wed dramatic.)
But for the details they can Remember (and in fact we were ready to share), especially one in full on their full approach to Season 4. According to Goldsman, "we wanted to go broken. We really wanted to leave nothing behind us, but to say: Go every day like this is the last time you do it. Peck is scattered with some vague teasing of further building the connection between Spack and Jameses T. Paul Wesley's Kirk, taking out these "experimental years" for a volcano with a stake.
There is still a lot of research to reach the next series of episodes, although no date of publication has been announced. The first officially released clip of Season 4 here:
Selia raised well, personally set up the romantic bow of Uhura in a strange new world season 3
For a franchise that has always seemed to exist in the past, present and future, that part of the panel focused on looking back in season 3 of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" was appropriate. Before the focus of Season 4 shifted. While taking a deserved victory in the episodes that ended streaming last September, Starwarr Celia Rose Gooding was asked to explore a brand new side of the previously established image Uhura. One significant substrate focused on her romantic bow with the younger brother of Lieutenant Colonel Erika Ortegas (Melissa Pravija), Beto Ortegas of Minor Luken. As it turns out, this was a story that Gooding was looking for specifically from writers. As he explained:
"Uhura is with an Ection -based" Heart of the Enterprise "or" Voice of the Enterprise "and I think it was really important to me after the first few seasons we had where she dealt with a lot of sadness and security and a real lack of foundation that she felt for herself (...), I really wanted to show her. Nichols was such a freakin 'fox, and it's so important for fans to see them - pieces and stains on the version that will then grow into the "strange new worlds", in my dance. "
Of course, this romance comes with the knowledge that Uhura remains at the USS company after Captain Kirk takes over the command in the coming years, and the "original series" apparently did not characterize Beto as a Lovebodian interest. However, Gooding accepted this. "The personality playing person is that we know who it will grow," she said. "But the funny thing we have to do, like the person who plays her and the people who built it, we have to decide how she gets there." Expect Season 4 to dive into this dynamics even more.
The Starflet Academy will collect where the discovery remains
As for the future of "Star Trek", well, it does not become much more futuristic than the 32th century, almost a Millennia After the events of "Strange New Worlds". How is that for a new limit? But although it still remains unexpected and unknown, from the cast to the setting to the main villain of the story (Paul Amamati), at least there will be a few friendly faces to prevent us from hovering in zero-G. Specifically by the Co-Shower Alex Kurzmann and Landau, the upcoming series focuses on a group of cadets-first class, in fact, to see if they have what they need to join Starflit ahead of the events of the last "discovery" season. According to Landau, "it was going on where the" discovery "left, and they reopen the Starflit Academy. SeeEe see some celebrities because of that. "Kurzman continued to describe how the new team provides a different taste of" path "than we have seen in any show before:
"I think what we want about this show is that, on any other show" Star Trek ", you meet the crew of the bridge and they are fully formed human beings and they chose what they want to do with their lives. And these are characters who really understand who they are and what they want to do. That's a very interesting way. That's a very interesting way. That's a very interesting way. That's a very interesting way. That's a very interesting way. That's a very interesting way. That's a very interesting way.
Based on the new trailer shown for attendees and subsequently released on the Internet, the creative team has achieved all this and more.

Meet the new characters at Starflit Academy
"The Starflit Academy has made a real ensemble, telling an expansive story with a full team team to help the show's world. The big names included are limited to Holly Hunter as Captain/Chancellor Nahla AkeThe character has apparently over 400 years old, and a half amamati such as a semi-clinon, a semi-carataric antagonist by Baka. Of course, Discovery fans can expect the returns of characters like Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wisman) and Etet Renault (Tig Notaro), while Voyager fans will be able to enjoy the long -awaited return of Robert Picardo as a stubborn doctor. But what about the main stars on the show?
We will follow the different cadets we are finishing, we will give this series a younger and energetic feeling, primarily through the lenses of the main character Kaleb Peace. Played by Sandro Rosta, this recruit actually doesn't want anything with Starflit. As a child, he apparently had an escape with the Ake Ake and Nus Baca who left him a scar. Left for her 15 years before the whitewash can follow and bring it to Starflet, this starts trip with revenge and (hopefully) learning curve to live according to Starflet's ideals. He will be covered with a few cadets of all kinds of walks of life: George Hawkins like Darem Raymi, the group's wildcard, who sees his classmates as the tools to be used in his journey to the top; Karim Dajane as Cadet Clingon named Jayei-Day Day; And Sam of Keris Brooks (acclimate of the Mill series), described as "a newborn hologram and the first of its kind to be recorded in Starflit".
Oh, and we will be declared to mention a special casting posted on the tail of the panel: no one other than Steven Colbert as the voice of the digital dean of students.
Starflit Academy has a new setting that has never seen in the track
Those who watch out for the footage we saw from the Starflit Academy may have noticed some iousubopitic details. While allegedly set at an academy, the action seems to often carry the characters to all the corners of the galaxy. The new show on Starflit Cadets that has learned the ropes cannot help, but bring to mind something like the "Deep Space 9", the first show in the franchise that (controversially) decided to set the main story in the space station, not in the hipwoles. But at the same time, this series seems to have all the same sequences we were expecting from any other series, taking our stars on the stars again and over. So what gives?
As it turns out, "Starflit Academy" takes the best of both worlds. Alex Kurzman explained the unprecedented decision, in essence, to turn the school into the ship:
"When you think about the" Star Trek "show, you think of the crew that goes into space. And I think part of the question that many people fought long before our Star Trek mandate is: "How to do a show that is just in the classroom all the time?" And so, we thought, well, if you do the ship's hospital where you need to go out on the field and learn on the field and join the San Francisco.
"The Starflit Academy is transferred to Paramount+ January 15, 2026.
