'RHOBH' star Bozoma St. John's house burned to the ground in LA fire - she lost everything
Bozoma St. John Grieving the loss of his dream home in Malibu, which was destroyed in the recent fires in Los Angeles.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The star, 47, confirmed in a heartbreaking Instagram post on January 9 that the house he worked tirelessly to get is now gone.
In an emotional post, Saint John reflected on the significance of the home, which he described as having "prayed" and "worked with blood, sweat and tears" to make it a reality. The house was a symbol of peace and a safe place for her and her 15-year-old daughter Lyell. “This is the house I wanted. The house I prayed for. The house I worked blood, sweat and tears for,” he wrote in the caption along with a photo of the property.
Saint John After facing several challenges, including particularly racist neighbors, the house kept for him went on to explain the deep personal meaning. She shared that as a "widow, single black woman with teenagers" trying to buy in an "exclusively-owned beach" area, she had to purchase the property in a trust within a trust to protect her privacy. I ask for your prayers for Lyell and me. God bless you."

It is unimaginable.” Fashion designer Rachel Zoe shared, “You are one of the strongest, most inspiring women I know, and you always will. We've got you, and you're not alone. My heart is broken for you and all our friends." Actress Sophia Bush also offered her condolences, commenting, "Oh Boz, I'm so sorry. Covering you both with love."
The fires displaced many residents of Los Angeles, affecting more than 80,000 people. Other celebrities including Billy Crystal, Ricky Lake, Cameron Mathison and Paris Hilton have also confirmed losing their homes. Additionally, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, Miles and Kleigh Teller, John Goodman, Jennifer Gray and many others have been affected by the fire.
Since the Palisades Fire began on Jan. 7, strong winds and dry conditions have prompted mandatory evacuation orders for more than 130,000 residents. So far, the fire has claimed lives, although the full extent and exact number of damages are still being determined by officials.
