Tragically, "Rainbow Reading" ended in 2006, due to the challenges of financing and the need to adapt to variable technology and delivery methods. Now, almost 20 years since it came out of the air, "Rainbow Reading" returns with new episodes, new guests, new books and a new format (incorporating craft guidelines) to better connect with today's young audience. Trailer for the series has highlighted several celebrities who will appear, including performers of "Stars' dancing" Riley Arnold and Ezra Sosa, "Fantastic Four: First Steps" and "Bear" Actor Ebon Moss-Bahrach, Teigen. The new iteration will be a digital series in which Saturday, October 4, 2025, on Kidzuko, YouTube channel focused on YouTube, operated by Sony Pictures, with a new host, Mychal Threts, Aka Mychal the Beartical.

Without exaggeration, there is no one else on the planet more qualified to follow Burton's footsteps from the Michal Library, and that is a sign that the revival is in the best possible hands.
