"Xena: Warrior Princess" was a kind of anomaly. Co-created by Robert Tertert and Johnon Shulian and developed by RJ Stewart and Sam Raimi as Spin-off from TV series "Hercules: Legendary Travel", "Xena" was a women's show where the lead was bad with a complicated past, and that meant it sometimes became a little dark. Xena (played by the unspeakable Lucy iniquity) Have they eventually done all kinds of things to try to try and make fun of her wicked past and some of her darker works, but apparently one of the darkest moments of the show happened in the opening of the first episode.

In Fun weekly Oral history celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series, Stewart shared that the early sequence showing that Xena buried her weapon has a pretty dark inspiration. Before she could finish the buried, she was interrupted by a group of villagers who were abused by the warriors, digging her chakram (her disk -shaped knife) and frightened the warriors. It is the beginning of her attempts to leave her life as a bloody military leader, who serves as the main progress of Xena. However, according to Stewart, its original plan was to bury her equipment before leaving elsewhere to die. Instead, she decided to devote her life to being better and to help others, which rules. However, the idea that Xena begins with her names, thinking about her own death is quite intense. Then, again, this is "Xena", so intense to expect, right?

Xena was introduced as a fully malicious character of "Hercules" (the first show in what will eventually become a franchise)And in the initial scenes of her spin-off series, she is going on a burning village that little boy Tells says she is ravaged by Xena, not knowing who she is. Although she has not clearly destroyed the village, her legacy is undoubtedly violent, and looks quite destroyed by this realization. Then she buried the weapon and striped down to the white pad, and Stewart felt that he intended to kill himself. As he said:

"The opening scene was Xena who buried the weapon - I have always thought that he was thinking of suicide at that moment, though I never felt it was appropriate to bring such a dark theme into a show that would like young people. In my mind, if she had not heard the crying of people.

Instead, she continues to become a hero of the centuries who helps all sorts of people and inspire a whole generation of children to let their warrior shout and throw clothes on how to jakes. . In the end, she would be sacrificed for the bigger good and redeemed as much as possible, but even ended up as a little fierce because she had to die and then not return from the dead (though she had totally had the opportunity).
