In "The Chain Until Now", Deku is facing off against an awakened Shigaraki, while the other heroes, scattered across Japan, are about to be defeated following Spinner's successful mission to free Kurogiri. In the darkest of times My Hero AcademyDeku is in a weakened form using Gearshift and can't react in time to Shigaraki, Suspicious, the evil professional hacker who is about to infiltrate UA High School and wreak havoc on the floating island.
Where La Brava goes, it follows a mild-mannered criminal, and one of the most disliked arcs in season 4, the villain making a grand entrance to stop an entire floating island from falling into the ocean. He wanted nothing more than to be a mild-mannered criminal hero and it was only Deku who saw this and gave him a chance back in the "School Festival" arc which ultimately cost him one. As much as it was fun to see the two villains return to the angels' side, Shigaraki's hands paled in sudden shock, touching the ground to send the mash for miles, only to be shot down by the World's Greatest Sniper from miles away.

When hope is lost, heroes are lost, and in the world's darkest hour, the world's greatest hero saves the day not with Detroit Smash, but with inspiration. It only took one shot.
