Kailyn Lowry After her recent decision to undergo plastic surgery, she got real about her mental health and struggles with body dysmorphia.

"I had a very, very emotional morning, mainly while I was in the shower. I pray that my children never struggle with their body image to distort their bodies to be skinny," Teenage mother 2 alum, 32, said a prepared with me Instagram reel Uploaded on Monday, January 6th. “I think it's okay to be a little quiet about a nose job or a pillar job but to go through that to get skinny is (a) really mental illness. And I say that with the utmost respect for anyone who goes through it."

Although Lowry admits she feels "good" physically, most of the time she "struggles" mentally with her approach.

“I'm struggling around this time. I don't know if I have a daughter now … not just my daughter, but my sons too, I don't want them to experience this level of body dysmorphia,” she reflected. “Like, I was basically willing to go to any length and do it over Christmas break Be skinny - even if that means (fiancé) Elias (Scott) couldn't be there for me. Even if it meant I was in another state for Christmas. I was willing to go to any terrible lengths for it.”

Lowry admits that when she went in for her breast reduction surgery, she was tempted Additional procedures While under general anesthesia.

"I was going in for a breast reduction and then I thought, 'Oh, I should add some Lipo 360, add some tummy tucks ... My scars were fine,'" she recalls. “My old belly bald spots and C-section scars were fine. Despite being on the mend, Lowry admitted she was having a "rough" time mentally but wanted to put on a brave face.

"I'm going to stop crying and I'm going to suck it up for the rest of the day," she said before issuing a warning to her followers. "Think twice, think twice before getting plastic surgery and I hope everyone has a happy new year."

Many of Lowry's fans flocked to the comments section to give her some much needed words of encouragement.

"You've always looked great! You're a beautiful woman at any size😍," one user replied while another wrote, "You've literally given birth to 7 beautiful little people, your body is incredible. I'm sorry you feel pressured to get it right." I hope you can learn to love your body, I know your kids did 🤍."
