Zendaya is reportedly "ready to spend her life" by her beau Tom Hollandfor his part, and is eagerly looking forward to starting a family with the actor.

She caused quite a stir at the recent Golden Globes as she was spotted rocking a rumored engagement ring estimated to cost around $500,000.

However, it has since been confirmed that Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged, as he proposed over the holidays.

After their whirlwind romance after meeting on the set of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2017, sources close to the couple revealed that they are ready to take their relationship to the next level and will consider "starting a family" once they are married.

Reports indicate that Holland has already proposed to Zendaya, according to an insider Daily Mail that he took the "old-fashioned" approach and got permission from her family before asking her to marry him.

"The proposal was sweet and romantic and happened over the holidays," the insider said. "He did it the old-fashioned way and got permission from her parents. Everyone is delighted."

The source continued: "They're the most normal couple at home and she's ready to spend her life with him. She's got everything she's ever dreamed of and marrying Tom and starting a family is next on her list."

It comes after the "Euphoria" star set tongues wagging while rocking an engagement ring at the Golden Globes in LA on Sunday.

For the event, she wore a tangerine-hued Louis Vuitton dress and a new bob, but it was the dazzling piece of jewelry, which is estimated to cost around $500,000, that caught the attention of many.

Speaking about Zendaya's decision to reveal the ring at the awards ceremony, a source said the actress "knew what she was doing when she wore that ring, and she didn't care."

They continued: "She also knew it was going to come out, but she was ready for it. She loves Tom and he's been with her through it all. They have a unique private romance and although they may seem completely opposite, nothing could be further from truths."

Meanwhile, Zendaya was reportedly devastated when she realized that Holland had proposed to her.

"Tom and Zendaya have been talking about marriage for years, but Zendaya had no idea he was planning to propose," the insider said Page Six. "They both value their privacy, so the proposal was something Tom wanted to keep private as well."

"Tom and Zendaya's families are ecstatic," the insider continued. "Zendaya's mom and sisters can't wait to start planning with her."

Over the years, the couple have managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, and Holland said it's because their relationship is one of the things he "holds most sacred".

The insider noted that "no wedding date or plans have been set yet" because "it's too early to start thinking about any of that. They're still celebrating the exciting news."

Zendaya and Holland are so committed to growing their family that they seem to forgo hiring a nanny in favor of a more hands-on approach to parenting.

In conversation with Men's Health MagazineHolland has spoken about his intention to quit acting and become a stay-at-home dad when they start having kids.

He seemingly confirmed that he will be committed to being actively involved in every aspect of their children's lives and that he will occasionally play sports.

"When I have children, you won't see me in movies anymore," he told the news outlet. "Golf and dad - and I'll just disappear from the face of the earth."

A source who spoke with Daily Mail also revealed that the couple "don't want to be a couple that has nannies and nannies looking after their kids".

"One of them will always be there with their kids when they have kids," the insider said. "They want to have a traditional family, and right now they don't have a team at home. It's just them and that's what they prefer."

In 2023, Holland got candid about his relationship with Zendaya during a conversation on "Smartless" podcast.

The Marvel star revealed that he feels "lucky" to be with the "Dune" star and that their romance is "worth its weight in gold."

Holland let his emotions shine through as he talked about his relationship with Zendaya in the interview.
