On Monday, January 6, legal reporter Meghan Cuniff took over Xformerly known as Twitter, to share an update on TI and Tiny Harris' lawsuit against MGA. Additionally, Cuniff posted a screenshot of a document containing a "temporary order regarding post-trial equity issues."
"Jury orders toymaker MGA to pay TI and Tiny $71.4 million over LOL Surprise! Dolls in violation of trade dress @Zonniqueby user OMG Girlz. Now a judge wants to drop $53.6 million in penalties, reducing the verdict to $17.8 million because there is insufficient evidence of bad faith.” Cuniff captioned his tweet.

In a subsequent update from Cuniff, he explained that the judge has not finalized their ruling and "might change his mind."
Update: Judge Selna has not completed his order! You might change your mind! That's why he issues *interim* orders before the hearings.
"There is a lot to think about. I want to leave this for a couple of days, and I want to come back fresh from the top," said the judge.
