FOO fighters are led by singer Dave Groll and The legendary horror director Johnon Carpenter There are no two names that you necessarily expect to see side by side. Still surprising, it was Groll, who actually served as the main creative force of the project he collected. A horror comedy titled "Studio 666", the film, was based on a story that was credited to Groll, which also starred as a fictional version of himself, along with the rest of his Foo Fighters bands. Released in 2022, directed by BJ McDonell by the script written by Effef Buller and Rebecca Hughes. As for the Carpenter, his contributions were smaller than you expect, if it was pretty surprising all the same.

Groll, naturally, borrowed her musical talents at the film at the top of everything else. In fact, running Foo Fighters has created a brand new album "Heavy Metal" for Dream Window, the fictional band that previously occupied the haunted recording studio, where Foo Fighters set up a camp in the film. However, Studio 666 has more than Groll's compositions. While he is still best known for directing, Studio 666 was far from the first time Carpenter contributed to the soundtrack of the film. Studio 666 remains the only non-documentary film on Foo Fighters to date. The film follows the band as they try to record their new album, as mentioned earlier, setting up a camp in old age, which once occupied the "Group of Heavy Metal" window. As the story is shown, the leading singer of Dream Windows seemed to have suffered a mental breakdown while staying there, leading to kill his waves and he himself. For a long time, Groll has been in an equally bad place to own the leading singer of the spirit of dreams, which forces him to complete the album the band was developing to release a demon.

Exploring a pretty standard horror material through a comic lens, Studio 666 has certainly earned a few points with horror fans thanks to Carpenter's involvement. Not only did the horror legend contributed to the soundtrack, but he even made Kimo in the film as a studio engineer.

Of course, as fun as "Studio 666", "Zani" does not hold a candle for the types of horror films made by Carpenter when he still directs, including "Fog", "The Thing" and "Prince of Darkness". Between his involvement here and his soundtracks to David Gordon Green's "Halloween" trilogy and the 2022 film version of the 2022 "FireTarter", it is good to see that Carpenter is still nurturing a soft point for the genre that helped him make his name.
