Taron Egerton doubts that wearing 2 will happen for good reason

God know that Hollywood wants to do unnecessary extensions to movies that become surprising hits. It doesn't matter if there is nothing to go on if the real story has no loose ends, or even if the first film the first film refuses to repeat the role. Fortunately, however, there are actors, directors and producers not enough to return something that they do not feel strong. This is the case of Netflix holiday in 2024, "Carry-On" so far.

Highly inspired by Bruce Willis' unforgettable "Die Hard 2", the publication of Netflix "Carry-On" was a kind of modernized respect that affected the vibration of what makes action trembling exciting and fun. A high concept conspiracy filled with uncertainty, the UMEUM COLLE-SERA film is followed by Etan Copek (Taron Egerton), an officer at the TSA at Lax Airport, advocating for promotion after his dream work failed. And because he and his girlfriend, Nora (Sofia Carson), are expecting their first child. Of course, the time of Copek to prove cannot be worse, because he chose the day a mercenary called ASONESON BATMAN) will blackmail his way to get a suitcase with a deadly nerve agent on one of the aircraft - through Kopek's "aid" - otherwise he and whom.

Despite some illogical spots of conspiracy and moments with difficult belief, Carry-On was busy and a very pleasant little action that quickly found its audience at Netflix (becoming a movie that collected more views during its first week of streaming service than any other movie last year). So getting a sequel would be hard to surprise, but Egerton shared some very specific conditions that would have to be met to think about returning like Copek.

No one needs another extended sequel

Talking With the Hollywood reporter last monthEgerton explained how much he enjoyed working with director Collet-Sera and that he was looking forward to working with him in the future. But whatever they cook together, the next one is unlikely to be a continuation of "wearing". As for that, Egerton explained reasonably:

"" Carry-On 2 "is really difficult. It's a celebration of Christmas and celebrating people working on Christmas. Then there should be this huge plot to be exposed, and perhaps the component of Ervig. It is all difficult to achieve in the sequel, without being a constructed, I know, things. ”

Although he does not have to exclude a sequel to being involved, it is quite refreshing to see that the Welsh actor is well acquainted with the traps and obstacles that a potential sequel, stories and otherwise. Kudos to him, I say, because he did not want to continue with a pre -successful project that would have had no basis. Not that he needs, however. His Critically acclaimed thriller "she drives a rifle" Only recently opened in cinema while his Apple TV+ Series "Chad" (created by Dennis LehanWith whom he had previously worked on an extremely disturbing "black bird") only barely finished his escape.
