In the original case, Andre claimed that he was traveling from South Carolina to Los Angeles in 2021 when he stopped at the Atlanta Airport for a lever.
While at the Atlanta airport, Andre said that investigators stopped him at the Jet Bridge. He claimed that investigators wanted his boarding pass and identification. Andre said that he did not agree to the officers to search for his belongings. He believed he was the victim of racial profiling.

The accused have denied all the allegations of wrongdoing.
