Uprikement of meals for children and reduce packaged snacks

Sharing some ideas for the compartment for children, especially as we are in the school season. We also made a mission to reduce packaged snacks, but I still stand on storage and favor Progress on the market. <- My="My" relationship="relationship" gets="gets" you="you" 40%="40%" of="of" your="your" first="first" order="order">

Hi friends! How are you? I hope you will enjoy the week so far. We find our new routine with Homeshool situation + Liv get some dancing (I confessed a little sad but I definitely don't miss a 30-minute drive and back twice. Now when we're on moving and packing a few things I've tried to do differently.

- The meal is preparing a ton.

It is so useful to have a refrigerator full of healthy snacks for snacks and meals.

Here are some things I made every week:

- Powerful fruit. If there is a fruit, ready to enter the fridge, will absolutely eat it instead of grabbing a bar or a packed treat. The melons are in season and so good, I've been picking up several different melons lately (children especially like Piel de Sapo and gold watermelon) and chop them in storing in glass containers. They also absorb berries in water and vinegar 2-5 minutes (1 part of vinegar in 3 parts of water), rinse and let them dry completely. Then I put paper towels in the bottom of the glass tank with a lid. They last so long like this! We usually do a mixture of berries: strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. I also absorb grapes and plums in water + vinegar about 15 minutes, dry and store in an open glass in the refrigerator. Kids will only mate grapes during the day and I love everyone to eat more fruit!

- Energy bite. I have a lot of different recipes here on the blog (like these!) But the favorite is equal parts of Indian and rip off dates, cinnamon, a little salt, vanilla extract and maple syrup.

- Protein Prep: chopped chicken, spicy earthen beef and Rage

-Veggie Prep: I will be lying down and chop some cucumbers, peppers, carrots. They are easy to serve and immerse in domestic hummus or Guach. They also like edamames ready to go.

-DIP: Hummus and Guacamole are the fan favers here.

- breakfast optionslike RageOver night oats, breakfast cookies (still love this!), Chia Pudding. I also make avocado in the school day for school day and serves with Applegate sausage for breakfast.

- Another second / new / fun thing every week. This could be like chicken or pasta salad, spanish tortillas, kvika or cold noodles with top and protein that can easily extract themselves from the refrigerator.

- Reduce packaged snacks.

We still have our go-tos, which I will indicate below, but the reality is that a lot of packaged snacks are expensive and do not have great ingredients. I could make 20 great domestic energy for the costs of 2 small four packages on all food. Our snacks were a huge part of our crazy food budget and is so easy to do them at home and adapt them for children.

Some of the packaged snacks we still buy:

- walnuts, dried fruits, path mix

- Canned beans (for Hummus!) And they also like lupine beans for snacks from advanced markets

- Role for seagrass

- Gomacro bars

-Poshi veggie packages

- Snack size cheeses

- Cottage

- Chia purses

- Jerky

- popcorn or sieete chips

- Share meat - They will switch it with cream cheese or mayo

- Sardines. I usually make a rudar for Sardin but children will eat them from a tin straight

- Simple mill products (such as crackers, cookies and baking mix)

- Return to planning dinner and preparing as much as I can during the day.

We are doing a lot in the summer of dinner, because we returned home from Spain, especially because the pilot works / travels so travel. Back to school was a blow to the pants I needed to start planning and making more dinner, instead of a last minute laying or random hand meals. (Also, I discovered that I really need to plan and prepare dinners when I'm solo parenting because by the time we get home from sports, it's time for dinner.)
