The young actress revealed that she would work "ten times harder" to "prove herself" as a talented artist and forge a unique path.

According to Daily MailThe 25-year-old actress appeared in an interview with Josh Horowitz on his "Happy Sad Confused" podcast on Thursday, where she said she is determined to make a name for herself in Hollywood.
"I don't mind working harder if that's what people want me to prove," she said. "I love what I do, it's the only thing I know how to do. So I feel like I have to do this."
"And if that means working ten times harder, then that's fine. I'm not ashamed, my parents are such talented performers. I'm blessed to be their daughter and watch them build their careers," she added.

She doesn't want to be 'defined by men' in her life
Lily-Rose tends to stay away from social media, rarely sharing personal updates or photos with her 8.3 million Instagram followers.
She often uses the popular media sharing app to post red carpet footage and trailers for her new projects. However, when it comes to addressing several controversies that have followed her famous father, she would rather not speak.
She has now explained that she doesn't want the defining factor of her blossoming career to be anything related to the celebrities in her life and would rather it be based on her work.
"I'm not here to answer for anybody," she said Daily Mail. “And I feel like for most of my career, people have really wanted to define me by the men in my life, whether it's my family members or my boyfriends, whatever.

"And I'm really ready to be defined for the things I've put out," Lily-Rose added.

Although Lily-Rose's 2023 TV series, Idol, was hit with heavy criticism, her father Depp reportedly had no problem with his daughter starring in the graphic series.
A source told the Daily Mail that the actor is happy that the 24-year-old is "building her own career and challenging herself to take on roles that interest her and test her".
An insider said: "He loves that she's her own person and that she's becoming her own actress. She's not basing her career on his success. He loves that she's such a strong person, especially now that she's getting extra attention with her recent role in ' To an idol'."
As for the criticism that has followed Lily-Rose since the show debuted in Cannes, Depp sees it as a sign that his daughter "must be doing something right."

Lily-Rose opens up about her lack of a career
Although her career is still young, Lily-Rose has hinted that she has faced many challenges and dislikes certain aspects of acting.
