In a recent interview, Freedman shared plans to release the receipt of text messages between his client and Lively amid the latter's sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni.

Freedman's comments come three days after Baldoni filed a lawsuit against New York The Timeswhich published a report on Lively's allegations against her partner.

During the interview, Freedman was asked if there was a coordinated smear campaign to bring Lively down, and he replied, "100% no."

Asked if he planned to sue the actress, Freedman said, "Absolutely."

The lawyer also revealed plans to reveal text messages between Lively and Baldoni.

He said: "We plan to release every text message between the two of them. We want the truth out there. We want the documents out there. We want people to make a decision based on the evidence."

In Baldoni's suit against New York Times, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, said the outlet did not "truthfully review the thousands of private communications it claimed to have obtained."

Baldoni argued that if the tabloid had properly reviewed the communications, "its reporters would have seen indisputable evidence that it was Lively, not Plaintiffs, who engaged in a calculated smear campaign."

The "It's Over" director also claimed the newspaper made "false, outrageous and deliberately corrupt" allegations when it published Lively's complaint.

Part of Baldoni's lawsuit, which And! News obtained, reads: "This lawsuit seeks to retain The Times responsible for his role in this smear campaign, but prosecutors are not done. There are other bad actors involved, and make no mistake — this won't be the last lawsuit."

On December 31, Lively filed a formal complaint against the named defendants in the Southern District of New York.
