Hi, I'm again. The guy who somehow managed to develop a sense of humor Even though he has never seen the original film "Naked Gun". Now, after /The movie "The Higher Shot" has threatened to take me out of the field and shoot me with a laser gun against a laser, which looks surprisingly like a gardening trowel, I finally sat down to watch the dream of a fever covered in the 50-year-old. My first impressions? Well, it's pretty wild, right? But then again, it's hardly surprising that it comes from the co-creator of the musical and Rif Raf himself, Richard O'Brien, who will always be a flute, a leopard, a game in the UK, which brings in the UK, which hosts "Crystal Label".
Now, what I need to clarify from the beginning is that musicals have never been my job, no matter how new or old. I haven't kept space with "Wicked" yet, just as I was never interested in finding out why Ein Kelly was so happy to start "singing in the rain". While they can be followed one day, my respect for the genre does not diminish because of their breast moments, tears of tears given to fans through songs that are forever embedded in the public mind. As for "The Rocky Horror Shaight Show", however, it has a different kind of admiration - just for the fact that this film has exactly zero f *** s to give how much it is, and especially for a starfish, which sings its scarce dressed.
Tim Curry is and forever will be the moment
The biggest download I had from my first viewing of "The Rocky Horror Show" is that we must be eternally grateful that Charman and Richard O'Brien returned Tim Curry from the stage in the scripts and heels. Of course, everyone is doing their best to reach Frankenstein's place, but when Curry is revealed as a sweet transvestite, Dr. Frank-N Furter, which would be his big screen debut, hard to see other characters that will eventually come in the coming years.
Some will see Curry as transsexual from Transylvania, and understandably that way. His performance is contagious, surpassing everyone else in this Gothic Glitz and glamor film. The first time here creates what feels like the alienated cousin of Zigi Stardast (whose appearance, along with Frank-N-p, was also designed by make-up, Pierre La Roche), and it is extraordinary. Even though he came not to like the look itselfIt is with that unmistakable tooth smile that shows hints about what will come. Shades of Penichen, Clown, Annie's Hannigan, Woodworth from "term", and even the grossly neglected "Mupette Island", while Johnon Silver has long been lurking under makeup and madness.
It is said, cannot be ignored that This room facing the castle is a full houseAnd it is understandable why every voice in it spoke so much in the last 50 years as one of the best -adjusted musicals of Broadway so far. Also, that is why you should not just attract a new audience to make Timewarp again; It is essential.
We need a rocky horror now more than ever
"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is practically sacred within the LGBTK+community, and finally looking at it makes it crystal clear why. This is a film of self -expression, sexual freedom and acceptance of yourself and those around you in any form. It has undoubtedly been told dozens of times earlier in more analyzes obsessed with fans of this, but watching Frank-N-dip drip colors in the Rocky Horror Chamber to settle like the colors of the pride flag (which would not be created for another time) just before it was ahead of its time.
The plot may look like a sour journey wrapped in a pearl necklace, but these are striking images and other small, but shameless stunning moments that have so much to say. Susan Sarandon and Berry Bostwick as a square, book couple, Etennet Weiss and Brad Malliers, breaking the conventions 50 years later and rightly. It is the wrong thing of the musical. Jump to the left of the "Wizard of Oz" and step to the right of "Tommy" (another wild musical I have seen), and among them is "The Rocky Horror Shaight". Finally I get why I will never lose status as a beloved classic, mainly thanks to Tim Curry who attacks the camera and loves it every second.
My last note is this-Bill Scarsgard may have made a good penny, but there is only one Frank-N-house.
