Even the best golfer of the world can allow a string of bad days to follow their homes occasionally - simply ask Colin MorikawaThe
In an exclusive interview with Our weekly20 -year -old Morikawa admits that things can be "very difficult" to concentrate on anything other than sports when things don't work.
"Golf is a big part of my life and who I am," said Morikawa. "When it's going great, it is very easy to be able to separate yourself because this is what we are trying to perform: how can we improve? It's just a last -end cycle"
Morikawa, the two -time champion of the PGA tour, argued that the golfers were forced to be a "mentally stronger" separate level than athletes in other sports.
"It takes a toll from you," he said. "I don't think people understand the pressure that we have put on our bodies every day. "
Morikawa said that he had learned to find balance with his professional follower and his personal life through "time management".
"As someone who is successful in a job, you have to be really good with your time," he explained. "If you put your mind in a short time you will be able to do a lot of things that is the most important thing"
Morikawa also gave his wife a credit, Caterin - a marathon runner and ex -golfer who married in November 2022 - as an important asset for his mental health.
"I wouldn't say it for everyone, but this is a requirement for me," Morikawa said about her marriage. "I am very proud of him. I think that what he did with his race he did with the motivation that he gave me it pushed me every day to get better. He played golf in college and stopped playing after playing Pro and was able to travel with me."

Morikawa continued, "To leave your best friend on your behalf and enjoy life, travel the world, see new places and do what I like. I am very grateful that he gave up many things he liked to do and let his journey come out a lot of time on this journey."
At this point, Morikawa is a victim of the Fedexcap Play Offs, which continues from the Cave Valley Golf Club in the Owing Mills in Maryland this weekend.
