Sean "Diddy" CombsThe documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy" is set to premiere later this month, featuring insider accounts of his lifestyle.

In the upcoming project, the music mogul, who is currently facing a barrage of accusations, was attacked by his inner circle, and some claim that the rapper often had sex with underage girls.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has remained incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York since his arrest last September on racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution charges.

On January 14, Peacock will debut his long-awaited documentary special about rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is currently facing federal sex crime charges along with numerous sexual assault and rape allegations in civil lawsuits.

The streaming platform recently released a trailer for the project ahead of its debut, revealing damning allegations against the rapper and how some of Diddy's inner circle appear to support the claims about his controversial lifestyle.

Among those interviewed are the rapper's childhood friend, former bodyguard, and Diddy's former Uptown Records labelmate, Al B. Of course!

"I've been with Shawn for a long time and I've captured a lot of moments," an unidentified source could be heard saying in the trailer, according to Daily Mail. "Whenever the studio or any room is (lit with red lighting), he's making love, having sex. Some of the girls that were in the room must have been underage."

Another insider added, "They said they could ship me and sell me to anybody," aligning with claims that Diddy was involved in human trafficking.

According to the project's official logline, Diddy's documentary features "never-before-seen footage and stories from those who know him best" and "sheds light on his childhood, rise to fame and recent criminal charges."

It's also intended to challenge "viewers to question everything they thought they knew about the mogul behind the music — and the footage."

"Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy" is produced by Ample Entertainment, Blink Films and FGW Productions.

Ari Mark, Phil Lott, Sumit David, Stephanie Frederic, Laura Jones and Justine Kershaw are executive producers, with Sara Lavery serving as co-executive producer.

It's also the first project to address sexual abuse allegations against Diddy in 2025, and more may follow in the coming months, including a documentary produced by the rapper's industry colleague 50 Cent.

Late last year, reports emerged that Diddy suffered a "breakdown" at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York, where he is being held.

The incident was reportedly sparked by the rapper's frustration at still being in jail months after his September arrest despite having a "powerful legal team."

The music mogul reportedly informed prison guards of his condition and asked to be taken to hospital. However, his request was rejected, leaving him to deal with the situation himself.

"Eventually, he was able to calm down with a meditation technique he used while behind bars," a source said of the rapper. Daily Mail.

It took the rapper some time to recover from the "bad space", as the breakdown hit him deeply.

They added: "It took him several hours of deep breathing and focus to get out of the bad space he was in, but he finally did it."

Reports of the breakdown followed claims the rapper was facing a "dark" Christmas, including not being served any lavish meals to celebrate.

At the time, it was said that the music mogul would only receive "what is available to him from the MDC commissioner's list" and a very meager "Christmas or holiday sack".

"It's plastic and it's almost like a big pillow and it's shrunk over the years," prison expert Larry Levine said of the package, per Daily Mail.

He added: "It's a bunch of crap that was probably bought because it's out of date because the prison system is selling you out-of-date stuff. And they're trying to act like they're doing the inmates a favor."

Barring any changes, Diddy is likely to remain in prison until his sex crimes trial in May next year.

The rapper tried to secure bail three times, each time offering a better guarantee package and stricter bail conditions.

However, the judges presiding over the hearings denied all requests citing various concerns, including Diddy being a flight risk and that he could use his freedom to intimidate witnesses in his case.

After the third refusal, the rapper filed a bail appeal to challenge the decision, but later withdrew the appeal for undisclosed reasons.

If Diddy is ultimately found guilty of the charges, he could face up to life in prison if the maximum sentence is imposed.
