For as long as a comedian, Larry David had a look: a little disappointed, with a curly hair ring around a bald dome, large circular glasses and huge power to insult people for less inconvenience. This look is extremely consistent since it was a young man, And until I have seen any photos of him as a baby, I choose to believe that he was born as a textbook definition of "Curmudgeon".
This comic person is just an act, at least according to his Long-term friend and co-creator of Seinfeld Jerry SeinfeldBut the look is certainly not. His attraction for blazers and jumpers for cashmere turned In an icon with a unlikely styleThanks partly to how much he constantly assembles his appearance and the screen in his Funny series HBO "Curb your enthusiasm" and outside the screen in interviews. Since he's playing the same look at the day and out of day, Larry knew the funniest thing he could do when he made his comedy on HBO "Pure History" was shed for something completely unrecognizable.
Well, shed can be the wrong word here because Larry made it unthinkable: he gave himself a full head of hair.
You will never recognize the bald icon in a clean history with a large bush beard and long hair that flows
Larry David has produced episodes of "Curb Your Enthrusimit" and ON, after the play premiered in 2000, until it ended in 2024. Never in a hurry to get another season out of the country, the show will take perennial gaps where Larry would not do much except to make "Hannah Mona". (Yes, it actually happened.)
The gap between seasons 8 and 9 was different: instead of producing another season on the show where Larry David played by Larry David, he instead wrote and produced a film that premiered at HBO called "Clear History". Directed by Greg Motola (Superbad "), Larry played the part of Nathan Flom, Bay Area CEO of Marketing for an electric vehicle founded by Jonon Ham. While Flom may not be literally Larry David, he shares David's habit of taking minor disagreements too far, and he falls with Ham because of his decision to name the Howard.
Insisting it is a stupid car name, Flom puts money where his mouth is and selling his stock in the company to prove he is serious about his serious prospects in the company. Unfortunately for Flom, Howard is a huge success, and his trick cost him billions of dollars.
Supporting a large bush beard and long hair, the outcome of his mistake causes a flomat to spend the next decade turning into Larry David we know and love. 10 years later, Flom was trying to create a new life for himself on Martha's vineyard when Ham unexpectedly arrives as his latest neighbor, but with his old/new look, Ham does not recognize him, opening the opportunity for Flom to avenge her.
Like "Curb Your Enthrusism", the film gives Larry very opportunities to improvise the road through unpleasant situations, with a cast of celebrities ranging from Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes and Kate Hudson to Comedy Starswald as Hammers and Denny Mcbrid. And, of course, the "Curb" SuperStar JB Smoove is there to pamper Larry's feathers.
While "Pure History" reaches the highest heights of "preventing your enthusiasm", it is still worth looking at every Larry David fan there, who wants to see what she looks like with a full head of hair.
