Freeman also stars in the Paramount + TV series "Special Ops: Lioness" with actresses Zoë Saldana and Nicole Kidman.

The series began its second season in October, and the show is just as popular as Sheridan's other shows for Paramount. Sheridan told Freeman that he wrote the part with the actor in mind when he approached the star.
"He chose me to play the part he wrote," Freeman said during an interview with TVInsider. "So it's almost like he's saying, 'I wrote this for you,' which is flattering in itself."
