John Stamos Reflecting on the people with the most money to him as one year ends and another begins

D Full house The star, 61, shared an emotional post via His Instagram On Wednesday, January 1, he reflected on "love, loss and growth."

"Happy New Year!" He began with the post's lengthy caption. “As the calendar turns, I find myself reflecting on a year filled with love, loss and growth. This past year has been the most transformative of my life. I experienced moments of immense gratitude, deep sadness and a kind of clarity that only comes when you truly let life happen.”

The caption was accompanied by a photo of Stamos with his wife Caitlin McHugh38, whom she married in 2018and their son, Billy, 6.

Both are Caitlin And Billy was the first to be name-checked in a reflective Instagram post.

"To Caitlin and Billy - you are my heart. Every morning we spent cuddling and laughing together is a memory I will cherish forever," Stamos wrote. "You remind me every day that the simplest moments are often the most meaningful."

Stamos also mentioned her Full house costar, Dave Coulier, And His ongoing cancer battleBy tagging him in captions and photos.

"@dcoulier you got it!" Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse opposite Coulier's Uncle Joe on the hit '90s sitcom, wrote.

Coulier, 65, was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of cancer that attacks the body's lymphatic system and affects "white blood cells called lymphocytes (which) grow abnormally and can form growths (tumors) throughout the body," according to the Mayo Clinic.

The actor also touched on the issue of losing a childhood friend Mike Waynewho has been best friends with Stamos since they were 11 years old. Wayne died of a heart attack in November.

“To Mike, my oldest and dearest friend, whom we lost this year—you will forever be my silent Obi-Wan, guiding me with your quiet strength. Losing you has left a hole in my life, but I carry your light forward in everything I do,” Stamos wrote.

Stamos went on to reminisce about his modest success in 2024 and revealed that he is looking forward to the future.

“This year, I celebrated my sobriety again, and it's something I'm deeply proud of. This year marked a new beginning for me, and I'm grateful for the second chance at life when you show up for it,” he wrote. “I'm excited for what lies ahead—new projects, new stories to tell, and new ways to create and connect. But for now, I hold on to the stillness, laughter and love of these moments with my family.

He concluded: "To everyone reading this: May the New Year bring you kindness, courage and peace that you are right where you are."
