Kate Beckinsale Striking back against those who dare to criticize her body.

The actress, 51, took aim at her followers who made unsolicited comments about how she looks with a recent, deleted Instagram post.

"This isn't a criticism, but I think you've lost too much weight lately," one follower commented on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

A displeased Beckinsale hit back at the comment, describing it as "unnecessary".

Beckinsale's stepfather, director Roy Battersby, Died in January 2024 aged 87 after a short illness. At the time, she shared an obituary for him through her Instagram story and confirmed his death.

"It is with great sadness that the family of film and television director Roy Battersby announce the news of his recent death following a brief illness," the statement read. "He died peacefully, surrounded by family, in Los Angeles on 10 January 2024, aged 87. The funeral will take place in London, details to follow."
