Abigail Breslin is on Blake Lively's side

Abigail Breslin talks about her own experiences
Breslin, who first filed a lawsuit against Aaron Eckhart in 2023 after they worked together on "Classified," said her experience, along with Lively's, highlights a "pattern" of behavior that appears to be becoming "the norm."
In her complaint filed with the California Department of Civil Rights, Blake Lively alleges that Justin Baldoni hired crisis PR strategist Melissa Nathan, who is known for representing Johnny Depp during his high profile libel trial in 2022 Amber Heard.
Lively claims Baldoni and his crisis communications team orchestrated a "retaliatory social manipulation campaign" during the promotion of her film, allegedly with the goal of tarnishing her public image.

Discussion of the #MeToo movement amid recent allegations
"There seemed to be an uprising (after the #MeToo movement in 2017), a new wave of recognition for those who have been abused, humiliated, slandered, silenced, and it was loud. But it was the kind of noise I can only compare to fireworks." Breslin added in her Tumblr post. "It can wake you up from a sound sleep, it burns so brightly and it shocks you, but then, it burns - just like that."
"And when the smoke in the sky clears and the ash and debris sweeps from the sidewalk, behind closed doors - to them - we're still just noisy women," she continued. "So we all go about our business until the next wave of injustice comes."

She then specifically mentioned her past "confidential complaint against a colleague for unprofessional conduct," which was later revealed to be against Eckhart. She admitted that she "was under the stupid and naive impression" that her concerns would be taken seriously.
"Instead of being believed and protected, I was sued for having the audacity to speak out. In the process, I was publicly shamed and slandered," the actress continued. "The reputation I had cultivated for over 2 decades was now tarnished as I became a crazy, paranoid and to quote directly, 'hysterical and wild' woman, who apparently only liked men."
