What if Twin Picks were an surreal sitcom instead of a perverted mystery? It may seem something like the classic SBS series "North Exposure", which lasted six seasons starting in 1990. Of course, David Lynch and Mark Frost brought some humor to Twin Peaks, but "North Exposure" is very purely sitcom with some similar strange elements, and that's a real treatment.

"North Exposure" is followed by Dr -Elloel Fleshmann (Rob More), a doctor at New York, who paid for high school tuition to promise to practice medicine for four years in the state of Alaska, who needed a lot of doctors. He ends up in the small fictional city of Cylie, where he will be the primary doctor in the city despite being fresh from high school. Cylie is a strange small town with real acting characters, and as Elloel meets his new neighbors as he comes through the doors of his clinic, he realizes that some of what is happening in Cylie can be supernatural. Developed by Creators "St. elsewhere" Brandoshua Brand and Johnon Flairi, "North Exposure" was a wonderful strange look at one of America's northernmost cities that paired perfectly with The more terrible tones of Twin Peaks.

Although there are several things that do not age brilliantly, including the first few seasons of treatment of his indigenous characters, "North Exposure" is still often felt before its time. The story is a relatively anti-capitalist, as one of the main villains is a big businessman named Morris Minfield (Barry Corbin) who wants to turn much of the country near Cylie in Alaska Riviera.
