The Young Sheldon's favorite episode of Lance Barber is largely forgotten

Narratively said, Big Bang's theory Spin-off "Young Sheldon" is a surprisingly different animal from his parental show. The predicted nature of the "young Sheldon" meant that certain characters arrived with certain expectations, and among the biggest questions it was how the show would be treated by Sheldon Cooper's father (and Armitage), who came pre-characterized as a pretty terrible person. Indeed, Lance Barber was worried about playing George Cooper Sr. For this reason, the show eventually referred to concerns by turning the Georgeor Sr. Jacques Lor came to regret that he killed him at the Big Bang theory.

Barber finished a little fun with the role. However, his favorite moments were quite different from what you might think. In an interview for 2019 with Mashable IndiaHe named the relatively unclear episode of Season 2 "Albert Einstein and the story of another Mary" as his favorite only from an acting point of view:

"If we were talking about the party, actor-y had to do, this episode in Season 2 in which Maria was pregnant. There were moments in this episode that were heavy lifting for us as actors. When I watched it, I thought it turned out to be pretty great."

Zoe Perry (played by Sheldon's mother, Mary Cooper), agreed with the feeling, noting that Barber's performance, in particular, was a sight to see:

"There is definitely a treatment we get when we gather, to find the crew, the set and watch an episode together. With that, I was particularly moved from Lance to a particular scene, because I didn't see it exactly during the stage.

Albert Einstein and the story of another Mary is a hard episode of young Sheldon

"Albert Einstein and the story of another Mary" (which is the 17th episode of season 2 of "Young Sheldon") is really for you for a walk, although Sheldon himself didn't have to make it. Grimm and tragically by the standards of the show, this chapter focuses on Maria, revealing that she is pregnant and then loses the baby, all in the span of one episode.

The incredibly sad scene where Georgeorje learns about this loss and comforts Mary (which Barber probably referred to his comment "Hard lifting") is rough to watch, there are no two ways. It does not help Sheldon exactly, which consumes much of the episode preoccupied with a typically complex plot to imitate Albert Einstein's musical skills by turning Judaism, walking down and informing his tears, he canceled his plan to make his mother out ... Atheist.

"Albert Einstein and the story of another Mary" is certainly one of the saddest episodes of the show, but there is really no business that claims to be the the saddest. The death of George Senior is so integral in the show's fabric that the episode where it is finally runs - "Young Sheldon" season 7, Episode 12, which is properly entitled "Funeral" - was always destined to maintain that position. However, relatively forgotten because this season 2 can be, at least Barber and Perry hold it close to their hearts.

"Young Sheldon" is currently moving to HBO Max.
