Kailyn Lowry is embracing a new chapter in her health journey after breast reduction surgery. The "Teen Mom 2" alum shared a post-surgery selfie on Instagram earlier this week, officially confirming the procedure to her millions of followers.

Lowry, who first rose to fame in the early 2010s on "16 & Pregnant" and "Teen Mom 2," gave birth to her first son, Isaac, at just 17 years old.

In a recent photo uploaded to her Instagram Stories, Lowry is all smiles, flashing a peace sign for her fans. In the caption, she wrote: "4 days post op... Want breast reduction videos?" and included a poll for her followers to cast their votes.

On her “Almost Famous” podcast, Lowry revealed that her doctors required her to lose at least 40 to 50 pounds before they would approve the procedure. She admitted that at first she wasn't sure if she wanted a reduction, implants or a lift, but ultimately decided that a breast reduction was the right choice for her.

Her second child, Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, was born in November 2013, during her marriage to Javi Marroquin.

In August 2017, Lowry welcomed her third son, Lux Russell Lowry, her first child with Chris Lopez. Just a few years later, in July 2020, Lowry gave birth to her fourth child, Creed Romello Lowry, also with Chris Lopez.

"It was challenging at times because I kind of had to ask for information from family members because it's like I know my side of things but I don't know the full picture, so I had to talk to family I had to talk to friends to get a lot of information that I didn't knew."

Not only did Gypsy open up about her traumatic past, she also revealed that she had been put under anesthesia "over 100 times". Fortunately, she said she didn't experience any noticeable side effects or long-term consequences. "When I was a kid, I went under anesthesia, I didn't ask questions," she explained to Lowry. "It's like all these side effects and all the dangers were told to my mom and not to me" since she was a minor.

In her memoir, now available, Gypsy reveals that her mother was aware of her addiction and drug abuse but chose not to intervene. Instead, her mother allowed it to continue because it helped keep Gypsy close and under her control.
