Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry After going under the knife is in recovery mode.
The reality TV star and mother of seven is taking some time off to recover from recent breast reduction surgery.
Lowry, 32, shared a selfie via Instagram Stories this month, in which she wore a supportive bra, and captioned it, "4 days post op." She posed a poll to her followers, asking, "Would you like a breast reduction video?" with the options "yes" or "definitely not".
The "Barely Famous" podcast host recently got fans involved with the surgery, posting another snap of herself in bed a few days ago via her Instagram Story, with the caption, "Surgery out; more videos to come."
Lowry has been public in the past about her desire to have her breasts reduced surgically.
During the May 17 episode of her podcast, Lowry spoke candidly about the conversations she had with her doctor about weight loss and the procedure.
"I want to get a breast job, right? I call around. I'm suggesting this get a boob job," she explained. "You know what they told me? They told me I needed to lose 40 pounds. So 40 or 50 lbs., like 50, but can get away with 40 lbs, before working on me."
Lori explained that the ordeal was emotional for her.
"I want to have this breast reduction, implants, lift, whatever," she said. "(My doctor) was like, 'Do you still want to determine this?' I'm literally crying already the water works."
A few days after the podcast episode aired, Lowry talked about it more via Instagram. She posted a caption as well as a clip of the story on her podcast where she explains in more detail what her doctor told her.
"What they actually said was that my BMI was completely too high to work out 🥲 so when I did the math it was between 40-50 pounds to lose 🫠."
Lori talked about breast reduction surgery in early 2018 on her "Coffee Convos" podcast.
"When my trainer came here the other day, he took all my measurements for weight loss, I was like, he obviously went to measure my chest and stuff, checked everything," she said, adding that she was "super" nervous and hopeful. That I can do the surgery."
