Fans of the NBC drama "Grosse Point Garden Society" were disappointed when they learned that the series was canceled in 2025 after just one season - especially since the season's final ended at Clifancher, which will not be resolved. Bans had previously created the "family" for the ABC and NBC "Good Girls", which aired four seasons from 2018 to 2021. At the very least, then, "Grosse Point Garden Society" had someone at the helm that knew what a successful series looked like, but the premise was intriguing.

Television is, as Fumero points out, hard business, and even great shows sometimes do not do it outside their inaugural season (though that Sitkom David Schwimmer made with Starwar "Happy Days" Probably not falling into that category). "Society Gross Point Garden", however, certainly seems to have been one of the better series she couldn't do in the second season.
