Teddy Mellencamp takes a break from lawyers and petitions to give her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave his flowers! The reality star sent a thank-you gift to her ex-husband as they put the rest of their marriage on hold in court.

Teddi Mellencamp filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave after 13 years of marriage and was immediately embroiled in allegations of infidelity with her married horse trainer.

Mellencamp quickly went down a flashback, including her journey into motherhood and her marriage to Arroyave. She put up a multi-slide post of her and her estranged husband through the years.

Mellencamp started the story in her caption, revealing that they met 16 years ago and tagging the entrepreneur. The next part of the inscription read:

"I will forever be grateful for that night at Coco Deville. I never knew I wanted children until I met my amazing stepdaughter Isabella."

She explained that her relationship with her daughter changed her life and eventually welcomed her into motherhood years later. Mellencamp concluded the emotional post by writing:

"5 years later came Slate, then Cruz, and then our miracle baby Dove in 2020. I may be far from perfect but being a mother is the greatest gift you could have given me. Thank you always and forever."

Well, Mellencamp's warm attitude on Instagram might not translate to their living arrangement. In fact,The Blast shared that the TV personality has temporarily moved into Kyle Richards' home.

She revealed the information about the premiere at the beginning of the month episode of her new podcast, in which she told her co-host, "So I'm living at Kyle's place."

The information shocked Erica Jane, who declared, "Really? Shit!" Mellencamp then joked that he was staying in Richards' "glam room" and suggested they start recording their podcast there.

Jayne nodded her approval, thinking Richards would love the company since she lives in an "empty" house anyway. She explained that she and Arroyave were currently "nesting" — a term for divorce that she claimed meant the children stayed at home while the parents took turns leaving the family home.

The trio seem to share something in common, which might explain their flawless friendship. Richards is currently estranged from her husband Maurici Umanski. Jayne also ended her marriage to Tom Girardi in 2020.

The podcaster explained that Richards helped keep her sane and grounded amid the divorce, offering words of encouragement and support.

According to her, Richards explained to her that the most challenging aspect of divorce is how it affects the children. Richards reportedly discussed her daughters with Umanski and admitted that despite being adults, they had a hard time surviving their parents' divorce.

She then advised Mellencamp to take public opinion with a grain of salt and put his children at the center of his priorities.

"So I think you can just, you just have to focus on your kids ... You have to shut out the noise," Richards said. Richards' words of wisdom came days after her friend announced they were divorcing on Instagram, writing:

"After much care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and insurance that every care is taken with their privacy and well-being through this new chapter."

Mellencamp moved in with Richards and chose a new tradition for this year's Thanksgiving celebrations. The star and her children decided to celebrate at her father John Mellencamp's house, leaving Arroyave to bond with his eldest daughter, Isabella.

The estranged couple's Thanksgiving arrangement came after they worked out a child custody settlement. When the TV personality filed for divorce, she asked for full custody of their children, but the duo eventually agreed to split custody.

The arrangement matched Mellencamp's commitment to prioritizing her children's well-being, as her best friend Richards rightly advised.

The Blast announced that Mellencamp had finally dropped her two cents on the adultery rumors that plagued her divorce on Instagram, with a video of her sweating it out at the gym.

She accompanied the video with Christina Aguilera's song and attached a long caption about her current perspective. "The only person who can change your life is you. We have 2 options, pretend to be a victim or stand up and fight for yourself. We all deserve peace and happiness," Mellencamp began.

She added: "I cried and grieved. I took responsibility and apologized for the things I did wrong." The star also explained that she gave herself "permission to grow and progress" from that experience.

Mellencamp emphasized that she "will not pander to the media and tell my side because in the grand scheme of things. Clickbait means nothing, and of course there are 3 sides to every story."

She concluded the caption by saying that, as an adult, she has addressed the issue with those who matter.
