Khloe Kardashian talks about the challenging holiday season after her daughter True battled a high fever.
The "Kardashians" star took to her Instagram Stories to share an update with her followers about her 6-year-old daughter's health scare and how it affected their family's holiday celebrations.
Khloé Kardashian revealed on Thursday that both of her children - True and her younger brother Tatum, whom she shares with her ex Tristan Thompson— got sick before Christmas.

While Tatum, who was born via surrogate in August 2022, recovered in time to celebrate the holiday, True has been unwell, preventing her from fully participating in the family's festivities.
Khloé, who welcomed True in April 2018, described the experience as "really scary" and "terrifying," especially when her daughter's fever spiked to worrisome levels. Despite the inclement weather, True managed to make it to the family's annual Christmas gathering, although Chloe noticed that her daughter spent part of the day resting in a separate room.

In her heartfelt message, Khloé told her 305 million followers: “It was great for sure, but different. She went on to explain that they delayed the opening of Santa's presents until the day after Christmas because True just "wasn't in the mood yesterday."
"Poor thing, that's when you know your child is sick - when the Santa toys don't even excite him," the reality TV star added.

Khloé concluded her Christmas thoughts with gratitude, writing, “Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I wasn't able to do that yesterday, (I was) pretty busy with True, and then I wanted to be present in the moment with everyone.”
However, as of Friday, December 27, Khloé said True was still not feeling well. Posting a photo of her daughter curled up under a blanket with her eyes closed, Khloé wrote: “She's never been sick this long. I feel so sorry for her. I pray everyone stays healthy! It goes around.”
The next day, on December 28, Khloé appeared to address True's condition in another Instagram Story. On a clean white background she wrote: "Dear God, thank you for keeping my little family safe, healthy and happy."

The Kardashian sisters are all 'practical' moms

Khloé also shared how she bonds with her sisters through their shared experiences and perspectives on parenting.
"We're really hands-on moms," she said Diversity 2022. "We are very present and active with our children. Family comes first... We are simple. That's what makes us happy. That's what we work hard for, so we can give them certain luxuries and have certain security. It literally makes life worth living, having children."

On April 12, 2018 Khloé welcomed her daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with a 6-pound, 13-ounce newborn. Just four days later, on April 16, the Good American founder revealed her daughter's name on Instagram.
“Our baby girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” she shared alongside a photo of her home decorated with pink balloons, capturing the joyous moment of welcoming her baby girl. "What a blessing it is to welcome this angel into the family! Mom and Dad love you True!”
In an interview with 2021 Cosmopolitan UKshe stressed the importance of prioritizing quality time with her daughter, stressing how important it is to create meaningful moments together despite being busy.
"If I have a crazy work week with more limited time with True, I take the weekend off," she told the outlet. "Some things are non-negotiable for me. I try to get her to every gym class and plan things around her schedule – I live and die by my schedule! Everything is calculated every day and that gives me a sense of peace because there are usually no surprises.”

Khloé is also Tatum Thompson's mom
In July 2022, Khloé's rep confirmed that PEOPLE Magazine that she is expecting her second child with Tristan Thompson via surrogate.
A source clarified that Khloé and Tristan were "not back together" at the time, explaining that "the baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December (2021)."
July 28 PEOPLE confirmed that Khloé's second child was born via surrogate at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
