This article contains spoilers for "Renaissance of the World of Jurassic".
We are all familiar with Jan Malcolm's famous quote to be so preoccupied about whether someone can Do something that they don't stop thinking whether they or not should. That hypothesis can be applied to all types of IP -driven movies with franchises stretching over leakage dates, but is particularly conscientious with the Jurassic Park. Universal chases the high Steven Spielberg's input scientific adventure since giving the audience the best look of cinematian dinosaurs you've ever seen. It is easy to understand why they would see him as hot property to build an empire around. The film was not just boxing office, but fundamentally changed how movies are made in terms of computer-generated images. It is a high clearing bar.
More than thirty years later, we are in the seventh installment in the Jurassic Pantheon with Jurassic World Birth, which is also going to restart species after creatively catastrophic "dominance". The last one of the best ideas on a silver plate series was handed over, and spent it with an inflated and incredibly stupid sequel to the inheritance that makes you feel sad about everyone involvedBut it made a billion dollars, so dinosaurs should live to see another day.
The "Revival" initially felt like a welcome return from the "World" films, deciding to return to the basics and retain the dinosaurs contained on an island. By directing Gareth Edwards to the 35mm Film Fund at outdoor locations, along with the return of David Kop, all signs suggested that this was a step in the right direction. "Renaissance", unfortunately, further illustrated why this series should disappear. /The movie is Ereeremi Mataai at least there were some kinde words about action sequences in his reviewBut I really don't have patience for these films.
In addition to the horrific sense of walking, a thin written series of human characters and colossal waste on the premise of the Mutant Dinosaur, Rebirth is found as the remains are heated. There is no soul for any of her prospects, moving full steam forward with a little to feel significant or - even better - fun. The central plot to take Dino's blood samples that may contain a cure for heart disease comes with its own set of problems, but at least the film has a certain form of intensity. However, it all comes to grind, when he has to share the film with the Delgado family, ending to get stuck on the dreaded Ile-Saint-Hubert (is essentially a place C). Together, they must find a way to survive an island dinosaurs until they can return to security. If it sounds familiar, it's because it pulls out the best sequel to Jurassic Park.
Renaissance is a smaller remake of Jura III Park
"Jurassic Park" was one of those who once in life miracles where the sequel could almost never regain the same kind of magic. However, I would argue that the first three films are making a solid trilogy. The "lost world" relies on some of the most sincere aspects of the novel at Cricketon, not to mention that there is the best use of dinosaur loose in the general public in 20 minutes than could "Dominion" in 147. In a way, the "rebirth" is a loose remake of the "lost world" by having a group of mercenaries of black options traveling to an abandoned island of dinosaurs to bring a piece of them into the mainland. However, the key difference is that they were antagonists back in 1997 and heroes in 2025.
But where the "rebirth" feels most unlikely to recreate the previous Jura adventure is with a family survival, which strongly echoes "Jura Park III". Ruben (Manuel Garcia-Rolfo), his youngest daughter Isabella (Adina Miranda), his oldest daughter Theresa (Luna Blaz), and her weak boy Xavier (David Jacon) spend a good amount of film trying to stay together as a family and avoid every day. It is not unlike the Jurassic III family of Kirby. Posing as millionaires, they torment Alan Grant (Sam Neil) to come with them to look for their son Eric (Trevor Morgan), who ended up getting stuck on Isla Serta (place B) after his ship crashed during an island's parasal incident.
Neither the family is made up of particularly attractive characters, although Kirbis gets a mild advantage because their whole adventure comes with a mission in the mind. They make things harder for a D -grant at every step of the way, but always and then, you get a look at Amanda (Thea Leoni) and Paul (William H. Macy) have ever had it, and the adhesive it can fix. Kirbis rescue surgery complements the Billy (Alessandro Level) -stealing raptor, while returning to Delgados at Rebirth Jurassic World Rebirth does what should be a simple film for a mission to feel long and incredibly overrated.
Of course, Delgados got the best scene in the movie with Raft Chase torn from the original novel "Jura Park Jura", but leaves no real impact. Moreover, it is a smaller adaptation of the river stage in "Jura III Park". One of these films actually had a practical dinosaur to behave against.
There is also part of "Rebirthert" that wants to keep things simple and return to "We have to survive on the island of Dinosaurs" the simplicity of "Jurassic III", but it just ends up revealing how the more effective and economical film by Oeo Johnonton. That movie may not have Spielberg (at least not complete)nor the completed script after starting production, but There was a decency to be a 90-minute feature of a creature that is fun and light on your feet. Fortunately it never strives to be the first movie. "Renaissance", meanwhile, feels each other long and surprisingly self-serious about a summer blockbuster for trying to avoid mutant dinosaurs. Many similarities are approaching the heart of an even bigger question with the Jurassic series.
Jura movies only know how to cannibalize
You can see moments in a "rebirth" where Edwards had many opportunities to take risk and actually present his characters with the opportunity to die, whether Teresa hangs from the ship, Xavier taking piss with rapists to get down on him, or Isabella under a capsized raft. But that is this installment, more than any other Jurassic record, proving that this series has exhausted all its best ideas and can really be recycled. It even moves away from "a character that sacrifices Dino, but still endsing miraculously to find alive in the end", with Duncan by Mahershala Ali.
There is an attempt in the name of Edwards and Copep not to return Spielberg's charm to '93, but also his other bodies at work. Did not help to divert Perfect movie like "jaws" on its 50th anniversaryJust to see dawn trying to shoot at Mosaurus on a moving ship's bow just like Quint (Robert Show). "Revival" is a remix of all the things we love for Spielberg, Monster Movies and "Park Jura", but without its own visible identity. The big bad twist Rex is just more than Rogan transplanted to Tyrannosaurus, while the great sequence of Mutadadon is just "raptors in the kitchen" of the first film. And I wasn't surprised that Martin's Rupert friend would fall as a wicked duel eaten by a dinosaur, while the rest of the main team makes him relatively unsaturated.
These films "Jurassic World" are simply allergic to change, which is a shame. Edwards' scope and magnificence demonstrated in "Godzilla" in 2014 in 2014 And even "Rogue One", to some extent, is the perfect place to use it, but it is still shockingly absent in "Re -birth". It is no coincidence that these horrible films "Jura World", all have some variations of people who are not interested in dinosaurs more, while directed by directors representing these wonderful ASTSWERS in the most sleepy ways. It is clear that there is an appetite for films with dinosaurs from the general public. I suspect the next good will come from everything with the "Jurassic" in the title until they come out with something fresh.
"Rebirth Jurassic World Rebirth" is now playing in cinemas all over the country.
