Gypsy Rose Blanchard revealed that one of her social media accounts was recently hacked, and she claims the hacker is demanding money in exchange for regaining control of her profile.

Since being released on parole in December 2023, Gypsy has become an internet sensation and the subject of a media frenzy, with many supporting the 33-year-old as she is believed to be a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

Fame often comes with some pretty big challenges, including becoming a target for tech-savvy individuals with the skills to exploit social media vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has become the latest victim of such a cyber attack.

According to the ex-con, her TikTok account, which has nearly 10 million followers, was compromised around 1:30 a.m. on Friday. The hacker allegedly altered her bio to read: "Anyone who violates rights becomes a hacker freak. rusty hand."

Gypsy claims to have been in direct contact with the alleged hacker, who is demanding $400 to restore her access. She also shared screenshots of their conversation, where she made it clear that she had no intention of paying the ransom.

Gypsy has repeatedly deleted and recreated her social media accounts, even choosing to set them to private for added security. However, it appears that even these precautions weren't enough to deter determined tech-savvy individuals from breaking into her accounts.

In the exchange, the hacker bombarded her with multiple messages before she finally responded. When she rejected the ransom demand, the hacker shot back: "You don't have $400?" She responded by explaining that all her finances were carefully allocated to her accounts and preparations for her soon-to-be-born child. She emphasized that, despite public perception, she is not a millionaire.

Gypsy is currently expecting her first child with her current boyfriend, Ken Urker. "We have a long history. So we first dated in 2017 for two years... We have a two-year history underneath," Gypsy explained of her relationship with Ken on "Andy Cohen Live on Radio Andy."

"We were separated for four and a half years and then I got married and moved on... I married Ryan. And then I got out (of prison) and I just realized it wasn't the marriage I wanted," she added. "So, I filed for divorce and then reconnected with Ken. And a month later we got pregnant. It was kind of a journey."

At 11 weeks pregnant, Gypsy happily announced that she was expecting her first child with Urker. Although the pregnancy was not planned, Gypsy described it as an exciting and significant chapter in her life.

"You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead of us, but I'm all for it. I feel a change in me. When I found out I was pregnant, nothing else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between the creators and me, and all that drama, it just all faded," she said at the time. "It didn't matter anymore. All that mattered was that I was healthy, the baby was healthy, and the relationship with Ken was healthy."

Just days after announcing her pregnancy, Gypsy sat down with him PEOPLE Magazine to share his thoughts on his childhood and the profound significance of starting his own family. Reflecting on her past, Gypsy revealed that her mother had once told her that she would "never get married, raise a family, have children, or do any of those things."

"So to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby, that's something I've achieved as an achievement and a personal goal," Gypsy said. "I thank God every day that I now have a second chance at life with my child."

The ex-prisoner added: "The way my mother raised me is definitely not going to be the way I'm going to be. We always say for the next generation, we want to be better than we were raised, and so, for me, I don't think that could be truer." ."

Gypsy was previously married to Ryan Anderson, whom she married while serving time in prison. However, since then it has renewed her relationship with Urker, her ex-fiancé during her incarceration for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
