Evil: For goodThe second installment of the popular movie musical will include brand new music that deviates from the original production.
"I collaborated on a new song, and it's very special to me," Cynthia Erivo to say diversity Thursday, December 26, episode of the "Awards Chatter" podcast. “When we filmed it, the whole crew was crying. I hope the audience is ready - this is a song that speaks her heart to Elphaba."

"We're diving deep into the consequences of the characters' choices," Erivo said diversity “The story is richer, and the stakes are higher. It is not just a continuation; It's a transformation."
Although Elfie eventually becomes a notorious Ozian villain, Erivo does not see the character as "purely" evil.
“Elphaba is not evil. No character is good or bad. They are flawed, complex and human,” Erivo emphasized to the outlet. "This story asks us to rethink the labels we put on others and ourselves. It's about empathy and understanding. The world needs more of that right now."
Erivo and Grande, both 31 Nominated for a Golden Globe for them wicked Introduction to different categories though. (Erivo is up for lead actress in a musical/comedy, while Grande is honored for supporting actress in a musical/comedy.)
