The former yoga instructor has been following comments on her Instagram page since the "Rust" shooting more than three years ago, which meant the comments were nothing but positive as fans and friends wished her a happy holiday.

Although the “Supercell” actor does not monitor comments on his Instagram page, the comments were mostly filled with holiday wishes as he shared a video of his son Edu drinking from a glass. The holiday shirt appears to be a different style to the one he wore in the group photo, although various children in matching pajamas can be seen in the background of the video.

"Merry Christmas," Alec captioned the video.

While most comments wished the actor a Merry Christmas, one user appeared to take the actor to task for his parenting skills, writing: "I would never let my kids drink water with ice cubes, okay."

The legal battles of the actor from the movie "The Hunt for Red October" are finally over. While he still faces several civil lawsuits from Halyne Hutchins' family and other cast and crew members, he no longer has to worry about jail time for the accidental fatal shooting of Halyne Hutchins on the set of a western in October 2021.

On December 23, a press release confirmed that special prosecutor Kari Morrissey dropped the complaint she filed on Nov. 21 as she tried to revive the criminal charges against Baldwin that had already been dismissed by a judge.

The announcement states that "The Special Prosecutor intended to file an appeal against the dismissal, however, the State Attorney's Office informed the Special Prosecutor that the State Prosecutor does not intend to file an exhaustive appeal on behalf of the prosecution."

The state insisted it "strongly disagrees" with the court's decision to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwin and denied suppressing evidence, which ultimately led to the dismissal of the charges.

"This has always been about seeking justice for Halyna Hutchins," Morrisey said in a statement, according to the release. "We regret that Mr. Baldwin will not be held accountable for the role he played in the death of Halyne Hutchins and as we withdraw the appeal, we do so with the hope that the pending lawsuits will bring some measure of justice to the family of Halyne Hutchins."

In their own statement released on Christmas Eve, Baldwin's legal team said: "Yesterday's decision to dismiss the appeal is the final confirmation of what Alec Baldwin and his lawyers have said from the beginning - this was an unspeakable tragedy, but Alec Baldwin committed no crime. Rule rights remain intact in New Mexico."

On Christmas Eve, attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing Hutchins' mother, father and sister in a civil suit against Alec Baldwin and other "Rust" producers, released a statement insisting that justice was not served and that "The Grinch" won this Christmas. .

"There was no justice because the jury could not hear the evidence," Allred he said at a press conference held in Los Angeles, insisting that Baldwin "was responsible, and he is responsible."

"It's not over until it's over, and it's not over yet," Allred said. "Although the New Mexico Attorney General, Raul Torrez, is the Grinch who stole this Christmas, we will work to ensure that future Christmases are Grinch-free."
