American actress Tia Mowry opened up about her co-parenting and single mom life in a recent Instagram post.

Tia in particular never hesitates to share intimate details about her personal life with her fans, and has done so since becoming a single parent.

The mother-of-two was married to her ex-husband Cory Hardrict for 14 years before announcing their split in October 2022.

On Monday, Tia shared pictures of herself and her children, son Cree, 23, and daughter Cairo, 6, on her Instagram page.

She began, “Happy Holidays from my family to yours! Co-parenting during the holidays is a journey – one filled with mixed emotions. It's different, and yes, it can be challenging and even lonely at times, especially as I adjust to new family dynamics."

Tia said she found beauty in co-parenting over time because it allowed her children to "build meaningful relationships with both parents."

The actress also noted that it helped her create a space for "self-discovery, healing and rejuvenation."

The 46-year-old mum admitted: "As a single mother, sometimes I feel the weight because our family is not like others."

However, she noted that it's okay to be different because it doesn't mean they're less. She said that the most important thing is to "preserve the tradition" for her children because they remain a family no matter what.

Tia concluded her post with a message to those "cheering on co-parenting or a new chapter" during the holiday season.

She wrote: "Know that you are not alone. There is joy to be found, even in transition. Let's keep creating those special moments for our children, no matter what."

On September 20, a teaser for We TV's "Tia Mowry: My Next Act" was released, showing Tia admitting the difficulties she faced after her divorce from Hardrict.

She said: "Being alone was the most challenging part of my divorce. Times like this are when I feel and want to my sister and I were still closeand I could pick up the phone and call her. But that's just not where we are right now."

Tia's comments sparked concern among fans about her relationship with her twin sister Tamera Mowrywith whom she rose to fame while starring in the 90s sitcom, "Sister, Sister."

When Tia Mowry filed for divorce In 2022, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her and Cory Hardrict's split. However, months later, she shed more light on their divorce.

In November 2022, Tia appeared on Today and revealed when she knew her 14-year marriage was ending.

She said: "I knew when I really started to focus on my own happiness. I feel like as women, we tend to focus on everyone else's happiness, making sure everyone else is okay - thinking about our kids, our friends, our family. But at the end of the day, it's about self-love."

Tia emphasized that a sudden awakening occurs when "you start really working on yourself, you love yourself, you know your value, you know your worth."

During the interview in June 2023 Hello BeautifulTia Mowry explained that part of her decision to divorce was for the sake of the children.

Tia admitted that the decision to divorce was one of the most difficult decisions she made in her life. Therefore, when her children saw that she could do this despite people's thoughts and doubts, she could say, "Mommy lives and pursues her truth."

The proud mom also said she wants her children to carve their own paths, as it's the best gift she can give them.

She explained: "I want them not to live the life that I want them to live, not to live the life that everyone else wants to live or what they think they should be or live."

The "Games" actress expressed her desire for her children to "see that it's okay to have a bad day." She concluded, "I want them to see that it's okay to chase their joy. I want them to see that it's okay to live their truth."
