There are many characters on MCU whose stories have moved away from their comic origin. Kamala Khan (Iman Velani) had capabilities similar to Reid Richards's broadcast forces on the site, who were changed in the skills of forming crystals in her show. Baron Zemo (Daniel Brill) also shifted from Being after a comic strip Son of Captain America's former enemy of Elite and retaliating juices soldier seeking justice for the loss of his family. Now, Riri Williams, Aka Ironeleyhart (Dominique Thorn), is the latest hero that has some adjustments made in her backstew. The difference is that this feels more like an obligation than an essential part of storytelling.

In the comics, the story of Ironelezhart begins in equipment when Tony Stark visits and supports Williams' work, followed by an artificial AI modeled after Stark himself. It is a failure that starts after Stark enters a coma after the events of the Second Civil War, but he sends his digital dopingger to help Riri build a lawsuit. This strengthens the link between the two characters, similar to the one we have already seen between Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Downey's Ironeles. The problem in the show, of course, is that Mzco Tony Stark has been dead in the last few years, and even if Downey will return, it will impose the budget for the "Ironoelic Heart" on a very expensive territory. As a result, even mentioning Stark's name feels uncomfortable, highlighting inconsistency in Riri's journey, which takes some time to overcome.

Robert Downey Runior may have given Thorn a few words to wisdom When she took over the role, but it is about as much as it is about MCC alumni. In the first episode of "Ironhearte", Tony Stark's name is thrown around fair, as Riri is part of a myth and has plans to expand the ideas and creations of the deceased Ironian person with his own designs. While she can use his name as a defense for her work to continue, it simply does not sit as she should respect Tony a lot. (At the moment he is only framed at the level of Kamala trying to follow the footsteps of Carroll Danvers/Captain Marvel.) At this point, Riri really needs to be or regularly see the works of her muse or not at all. Instead, the show represents this weak among which it feels like a filler during the time, until it makes a far smarter decision with another basic part of Riri's backstew.

Just like so many heroes, Williams' search to do well comes from a personal tragedy. The show, like the comics, reveals that Riri's best friend, Natalie (Lyric Ross) and the stepfather of Riri, Gary (Laroye Hawkins), were victims of driving shooting. Fortunately, however, it is through this traumatic event where the show speeds things up with the creative process of Riri and returns Natalie to life (Kinda) much earlier than in the original comic book story of Ironehheart.

While Riri made his comic book debut in 2016 in "Invincible Ironiana" #7, she didn't get her own story all the way to "Ironheart" #1 in 2018. It's a lot of time for the title to spend the title with Stark, AI or otherwise, which she just didn't have in MCU. Which perfect timing then, just like in her first comic book edition, her new AI, Natalie, comes to life in the first episode - and it's not a time prematurely.

The noticeable absence of strict and excessive use of his name is immediately considered aside thanks to the arrival of Lyric Ross as a former friend-advanced-digital assistant to Thorn. This is changing the focus of more interesting elements relevant to the RIRI MCU version, rather than the comic book version of the show. Obviously, it would be nice to see some interaction between the Ironelesis and the hero from whom he bears his name, but no matter how much MCU, unfortunately we cannot have everything. It causes a certain iOsubocity for the future of Riri in this constant expansion of the universe.

I'm not going to tell where Ironheart will appear next after her independent show, but what will be interesting is whether it takes place in the time period before or after the events of "Doomsday". Having already referred to Stark's legacy, how can Riri react when a man in a green cloak and an intriguing accent that looks just like the man who modeled her excellent inventions after? If and when that happens, it can actually give Riri a better opportunity to communicate with the man who made such an impact in her life, despite her debut series, which struggled to effectively show her.
