"Reacher" is pretty simple (yet efficient) TV -Show - a former military police with hands -sized dinner -sized dinner that wander around the United States, beating people who abuse their power. In three seasons, protagonist Jackack Ricer (Alan Richson) never changes, not in terms of personality, growth, and even in the size of his wardrobe. He is a hobby on Thanksgiving fists of turkey -sized fists, and an intrusion to collect unforgettable side faces wherever he goes, helping him overthrow corrupt rings.
Adaptation of the Lee Child's book series of the same name, "REACHER" is the best action show on TV It's more than just a TV -Show of Dad or a fantasy of power. I mean, these are those things, but it is also a tightly constructed thriller with great action, some atypical but effective comedy (What if a big man with a small phone?), And even a very welcome romance.
That last part is interesting because, unlike most TV shows with the Ensemble of Characters Returning Over and Overall, "Reacher" changes its entire team (Sans Reacher) every season. The only exception is Francis Nigli of Maria Stan, which appears every season and has its own spin-offs in the works right now. The lack of a permanent catch on the side characters means that there is no will-you-don't-one-one and one of his women's allies, but the girl "Reacher Jamesimes Bond" every season.
The reason is simple. As Alan Richson said Total movie magazine To publish Season 3, "There are a few books where you really feel that he is in charge of someone. And so, I think there may be time to explore that side of things," Richson said. "But for now, I think we will continue to respect the fact that Reacher is really a lonely wolf."
Lonely wolf (sans cub)
This, of course, plunged with the portrayal of Jackack Reeker in Lee's books. He is a hobo that enters a new place, solves the problem, has flying, and then leaves to find a new place to help. That's how the book series continues for so long (nearly 30 books and counting), as it provides a new companion to the cast every time. It also means that whenever the side characters return after their introductory season, it makes a really nice surprise, as when Finley (Malcolm Goodwin) returned in season 2.
As for the romantic aspect, everyone loves Reacher. Although it would be easy to dismiss the show as TV TV, the audience at one point proved to be made up of 60% of women. As Valerie ethenhofer once wrote, Part of the appeal is that Jackack Ricer is not only fighting on behalf of the women in the show, but standing up, even behind them. The girls we meet are more than just Lovebow interests. They are just as competent as Reacher himself; They are not only his allies, but his partners and equal.
And you never know, there is always the opportunity to only adapt one of the books in which Reacher has a more serious relationship and sincerely thinks that it leaves behind his ways to Hobo.
