Questions from "Can this character beat that character in struggle?" It will never go out of fashion among the comic book fans. In particular, the hypothetical fights that cross the division of Marvel-DC have always proved popular, mainly because there is so rarely the opportunity for these characters to face each other. This has left fans to debate whether Superman or Hulk are stronger (it's Hulk), or whether the flash or Quicksilver is faster (flash), or whether Batman could beat Captain America in a fight.

Mashup Batman and Captain America is particularly interesting because, although the character's abilities are not very similar, they seem to be almost perfect. Batman has been trained to reach the top physical condition. The fact that these two characters belong to different publishing companies means that they have rarely been able to face them. Rarely, but never.

Although they are a rare occurrence, Marvel and DC crossovers happened On several occasions. For years, these crossovers have been playing with Captain America against Batman, but moved away from discovering the definitive winner. It's a understandable situation - no publisher probably wants their character to lose and, even if creative teams could agree on the winner, fans of the losing hero would be in the weapons.

In 1996, "DC vs. Marvel Comics", alternately entitled "Marvel Comics Against DC" in editions published by Marvel, saw the heroes of the two franchises collected and forced to fight, with the results determined by readers' voices. Batman faced Captain America in a fight that proved how evenly the two matched. After hours, the dark knight appeared triumphant, but only because a sudden rush of water in the sewer where they fought threw the cap out of balance.

Soon after their first fight, Batman and Cap met again in Batman and Captain America. This one -time saw the two short trade strikes like Steve Rogers and Bruce Wayne. However, the two quickly realized who they really were fighting and instead started working together. In 2004 JLA/Avengers in 2004, Batman and Cap were clashes, although they only traded testing, before deciding such a balanced fight would be meaningless- though Batman admitted that Captain America would eventually beat him.

The JLA/Avengers eventually gave the fans a definite answer to who would win a fight between Batman and Captain America, even if he needed an indirect way to that answer. "JLA/AVENGERS" #4 saw Captain America to take over the villain of DC Prometheus. Similar to Marvel TaskmasterPrometheus was able to replicate the style of struggle and the possibilities of various heroes and villains. Through his computerized helmet, associated with his brain, Prometheus was able to take the combat capabilities directly into his central nervous system.

When Prometheus struggled with Captain America in the "JLA/Avengers", he revealed that he was using Batman's combat skills, along with the hypnotic skills of his helmet. Unsuccessful of this, Cap took Prometheus in hand to hand and easily beat him. Cap claims that his experiences in World War II have learned the focus he needed to see through Prometheus tricks and to overcome every opponent.

If Captain America wins the villain using Batman's combat skills was not enough proof that Marvel would beat the captain in a fight, DC provided little additional evidence. A few years earlier, in "JLA" #16, Batman fought with Prometheus himself and lost, bad. Both heroes faced Prometheus while using Batman's own skills, as well as the other tricks of his helmet. The result was clear- Captain America won.
